Reporting to the CEE and BU General Director, I manage a team of a 10 live construction projects and 17+ site-based EHS Managers covering construction activities in Russia across the region .
I engage with the senior management team to turn around a poor performing part of business unit.
Support implementation in Russian Business Unit of Safety for Life
Develop strategies and plans for program improvement, and chair the local fleet safety committee if applicable.
Support Business Development dep. in terms of introducing to the clients and potential contractors company’s health and safety policy and requirements.
To ensure that all HSE standards are included in to the contracts since bidding / tendering projects up to pre-construction and final construction stages.
Ensure the requirements of the Construction Health and Safety Manual are delivered.
Conducts all kind of EHS audits on projects and support the remediation of outstanding issues.
Supports all Global Operations EHS activities within Russian Business Unit.
Development and implementation policies and procedures.
Provide regular status and performance updates to senior leadership. Ensure an on-going review and maintenance of the business resilience program.
Lead SRO certification for General contractor license
Review and update IMS Procedures for Construction Services Dep.
To ensure IMS compliance with SH&E related policies and procedures for project delivery and the location management of the function (including project sites).
Support implementation in Russian / CIS Business Unit of Incident Injury Free Program and to achieve construction accidents/ near misses and injury reduction goals.
Develop strategies and plans for program improvement, and chair the local fleet safety committee if applicable.
Coordinate project managers and EHS managers for the Management of Environment, Health and Safety programmes as required by Global Operations.
Implementation and support of the Incident and Injury Free programme and Safety Standards since bidding / tendering projects up to pre-construction and final construction stages.
Ensure the requirements of the Construction Health and Safety Manual are delivered.
Conducts all kind of EHS audits on projects as required and support the remediation of issues and training of staff as required.
Prepare annual EHS targets based on annual system and performance review and communicate progress using appropriate metrics.
Supports all Global Operations EHS activities within Russian \ CIS Business Unit.
Development and implementation policy and procedures to ensure business compliance, including routine exposure to regulators.
Provide regular status and performance updates to senior leadership. Ensure an on-going review and maintenance of the business resilience program.
Development and implementation of safety, health, environmental, emergency response, security and fire protection programs to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Provided overall leadership guidance and direction in safety, health, environment, and emergency response planning and security management for the entire plant.
Represented the company in regulatory committees, professional institutions, industrial associations and societies to influence the development of safety, health and environmental laws, regulations, standards, codes of practice and guidelines to meet the company’s business objectives and ethical standards.
