- To provide the essential needs of the patient like food, medicine, bath and oral care. To prevent of having decubitus ulcer by giving massage and turn patient from side to side, to put cardiac monitorto the patient, to assist in insertion of endotracheal tube, collect arterial blood to check blood gas, to collect all the data of all blood results and inform to all the medical team, to evaluate the body fluid by checking the venus pressure.
- Assess patient status and notify physicians of clinical changes.
- Interact with departments regarding patient care.
- To assist in the insertion of tracheostomy tube, prepare patient for surgery by shaving the area of operation and give full instruction, assist in the insertion of suprapubiccatether.
- Assisted in the orientation of new staff members.
- Assessed patient conditions and advised of changes in status.
- To write all the data from the patient and all laboratory results collected to the chart, to assist in bone marrow aspiration, chest taping and abdominal taping, check blood sugar through Glucometer.
- Provided total patient care including range of motion, tube feeding, I&O, and cauterization.
- Performed wound care using aseptic technique.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To write all the data from the patient and all laboratory results collected to the chart, to assist in bone marrow aspiration, chest taping and abdominal taping, check blood sugar through glucometer, to assist in insertion of tracheostomy tube, prepares patient for surgery by shaving the area of operation and give full instruction, assists in the insertion of suprapubiccatether, to carry out all the doctors order.
