Job Summary:
Manage the process of weighing inbound and outbound trucks on the weighbridge system and maintain all associated records and documentation. This role is essential for ensuring accurate data for billing, compliance with weight regulations, and the smooth flow of site traffic.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Weighbridge Operations: Accurately weigh all incoming and outgoing vehicles using the weighbridge software system. Monitor tare and gross weights to determine the net weight of materials.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Issue weighbridge tickets, weight certificates, and receipts to drivers and relevant stakeholders. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all weighing transactions, waybills, and dispatch orders, both digitally and manually.

Compliance and Safety: Verify that vehicles comply with legal weight limits to prevent overloading and potential hazards. Enforce site safety procedures and protocols at the weighing platform and surrounding area, and monitor for unauthorized access.

Communication and Coordination: Serve as the first point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions for loading/unloading and vehicle positioning. Communicate effectively with logistics staff, warehouse personnel, and transport managers to coordinate vehicle movement and report discrepancies.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the weighbridge equipment. Regularly inspect the system for accuracy and functionality, reporting any malfunctions or irregularities to the appropriate department for timely repair or calibration.

Reporting: Prepare and submit timely daily, weekly, or monthly weight reports for management review.
