Operates and Maintains the following Airport Surveillance Equipments:
1.THOMPSON-CSF TRAC 2100
Description : L band Primary Radar Transmitter with a Power of 10KW Solid State Amplifier with Built-In Test Equipment
Performs Preventive and Corrective maintenance and troubleshooting for:
a. ER2000-L Radar Transmitter
b. RR 2001 Radar Receiver
c. TVD 1000 Video Processor utilizing Adaptive Moving Target Detector (AMTD)
d. DRU 2000 (Data Regrouping Unit)
e. TPR 1000 (Track processor)
f. ING 1010 Display Unit
g. CD 840 Encoding and Distribution System
h. Antenna System
2. THOMPSON-CSF MSSR
Description: Mono-pulse Secondary Surveillance Radar with a Power of 1.5KW
Performs Preventive for:
a. RSM 970 Interrogator/Receiver Unit
1. Transmission Test
2. Reception Test
3. Switching Test
4. Local Frequency Test
5. TVBC Test
6. Fan Checking
b. ERM 870 Mono-pulse Reply Extractor
1. Off line Test
2. Power Supply Check
3. Fan check
c. TPR 1000 Radar Processor
1. Equipment Operational Check
2. Power Supply Check
Performs Equipment Monitoring and Corrective maintenance through Remote Control and Monitoring System (RCMS) located at Equipment site known as L-RCMS and on the user site (APPROACH) via modem known as R-RCMS
Perform Lubrication, Clean-up and Mechanical Maintenance
1. Antenna Pedestal
2. Rotary Join
3. Waveguide Assembly
Performs Corrective Maintenance such as module replacement and Troubleshooting
Maintains the following Airport Surveillance Equipments:
1. NEC NPG-560B Airport Surveillance Radar
Perform Periodic General Inspection (Daily, Weekly, Monthly), such as :
a. Trigger Pulse Repetition Frequency & Pulse Width
b. Transmitting Frequency Check
c. Transmitting Pulse Width & Power Check
d. MDS Check & Antenna VSWR Check
Perform Alignment and Adjustment of its Subsystems:
Transmitter, AFC System, RF Amplifier, Receiver, Line Driver, Common Digitizer, Optical Unit, and Dehydrator
Perform Lubrication, Clean-up and Mechanical Maintenance
a. Antenna Pedestal
b. Slip Ring and Brush Assembly
c. Main Bull Gear & ACP Generator Gears
d. Rotary Joint
e. Waveguide Assembly
Perform Maintenance and Troubleshooting
a. Transmitter and Receiver Maintenance
b. Line Driver & Control Function Maintenance
c. Magnetron & Dehydrator Desiccant Replacement
2. NEC NPG-905B Secondary Surveillance Radar
Perform Maintenance of Interrogator-Receiver, such as:
a. Interrogation Pulse Waveform
b. Transmitter Output Power and Frequency
c. MDS, STC and Mixed Video Check
Perform Adjustment and Troubleshooting, such as:
a. Monitor Video Check
b. Mod Trigger and Raw Video Checks
c. Video Processing Circuits
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Over-all in-charge on all Electrical Boards ( Digital Camera Electronics Boards, Medical Electronic Boards, Surveillance Electronic Boards )
a.) Digital Point and Shoot ( All Model )
● ASIC Controlled with SR (Shake Reduction Picture) Motor Controlled
b) Digital SLR Camera ( All Model )
● ASIC + CPU + DPU with SR Capability Using Electromagnetic Principle
c) Ultrasonic Camera Lens Board
2. Conducts Training on Basic Electronic Circuit Principle and Electronic Equipments used in Circuit Trouble shooting on all OJT (on-the-job Training) and production operators assigned in Chipmounter Section.
3. Makes daily and monthly reports regarding the updates of the investigation and repair of Electronic Boards.
4. Conducts LCR Checking every new model prior to Mass Production.
5. Makes Parts placement drawing on Electronic Boards ( All Model ) using Rapid 9 CAD.
6. Do the Actual Changing of Parts such as IC’s which have legs, BGA type (Ball Grid Array) LGA (Land Grid Array).
7. In-charge of CPD Machine Ledger that monitors the actual machine and coordinate Technical In-charge for validation of machines used in camera assembly for Plant 1 and Plant 2.
