Duties and responsibilities include
•Preparing patients from dental work
•Assisting dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary
•Support dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instrument and materials
•Perform procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act
•Readies patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating and draping the patient
•Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instrument and dentist access, suctioning and passing instruments
•Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radigraphic studies, pouring, trimming and polishing study casts
