Supports management to drive performance of the business through timely and
insightful BPM reporting for overheads, providing P&L commentaries and O&R
(Opportunities and Risk). Analyze any significant deviations from budget/forecast and
ensure department cost is in place and identify and implement ideas that will bring
cost savings and improve productivity.
• Leads the budgeting process, update full year estimates, and has good understanding
of Australia BU’s cost structure.
• Prepares monthly/ quarterly/ and full year forecast for Australia (Demand Side)
amounting to $70M-$75M AUD yearly, and drive savings commitment from Budget
owners to hit productivity.
• Ensures all journals impacting P&L are properly checked. Reviews forecast accuracy
in terms of month-end landing numbers and latest estimates. Ensure smooth and
accurate month-end closes.
• Manages Balance Sheet GL reconciliations and ensures it is completed on time and in
accordance with the GL reconciliation policy.
• Apart from budget owners, business partnering is also done with key stakeholders
(market finance contacts) & network with various functions within GDBS/market (STC,
STP, Bank Ops, Treasury, CARM) and outside DBSC (KPMG/PWC/Deloitte)
In-charge of Material Management, ensuring that the company has enough inventory
to meet the planned sales for the month.
• Monitors shipments of product and ordering of items from source. Part of the monthly
demand planning with marketing and Regional Planners.
• Standardized Monthly Report for Supply Chain Director, Stock-Out reports, Monthly
Business Review & Inventory Rolling Forecast, and other ad-hoc simulation of supply
chain scenarios.
• In-charge of OPEX Budgeting and productivity initiative for Operations Team
• Spearhead process improvements for the Customer Service which improves the Stock
availability, and order errors.
Acted as Point person for Transfer Price Report for all affiliate countries.
Responsibilities include computation of landed cost of all URC products to all affiliate
countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and Hong
Kong).
• Creates analysis reports for different Supply Chain concerns
• Regional Sourcing - C2 Solo Importation from Vietnam
• Capital Expenditure - In-charge of analytics and computation of Payback, IRR, and
NPV.
• PHP 420M Chocolate Line
• PHP 236M Soft Candy Line
• PHP 70M Choco Spray Line
• PHP 526M Mineral Water Line
• Coordinates with affiliate countries in analyzing profitability of imports and exports to
take advantage of low cost production.
• Acted as Point Person for Two (2) major categories contributing to PHP 1.2B monthly
sales with around 100 SKU’s.
• Maintains product line profitability and ensures all of these are creating additional
wealth to total company and recommend non-performing products for liquidation.
• Provide ad-hoc task to Finance top management (CFO and Finance Director), this
includes: Monthly Cost Growth Analysis, Gross Profit Gap Analysis and Sales
Trending Analysis.
• A full support associate to Marketing team, providing financial analysis to new
businesses, maintain and report budget and forecast monitoring.
• Worked closely with Accounting and IT team to roll out the automation of P&L
Computation from Gross Sales to Net Sales in SAP
In charge of monitoring multi-billion investment portfolio from institutional investors and
wealthy individual. Making sure that these portfolios are: receiving correct amount of
earnings, correct prices, and correct number of shares. Investigate if there are
anomalies in terms of accruals reflected in the portfolio. Handles queries from portfolio
managers based in Europe, Australia, and Asia.
