 Review HVAC engineering designs for commercial buildings, schools recreational facilities and residential housing produced by Design and Build Contractors to ensure all mechanical engineering elements comply with relevant ASHRAE codes and standards.
 Review and evaluate submittals for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Materials, Method of Statement, Coordination Drawings, Shop Drawings, and calculation for approval.
 Review and evaluate plans and drawings for any discrepancy with other trades or discipline.
 Monitor and report on progress of mechanical works on site against project baseline schedule to identify potential delays and verify achievement of project milestone events.
 Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other participants.
 Review and evaluate plans and drawings for any discrepancy with other trades or discipline.
 Closely monitor the activities of the contractor to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
 Track, reviews, and takes appropriate actions on material and procedural submittals from the contractor.
 Track and responds to RFI’s and requirements for the designs and solution to field conditions in a timely manner. Ensure the quality of contractor submitted RFI’s and timeliness of reviews.
 Lead the project through all elements of the project proposal and design stage, through to construction documentation, attended meetings with client, architect, other consultant’s, project manager and contractors
 Works with engineering department and engineer in charge of design to establish and appropriate design criteria for the assigned design project.
 Monitors the execution of the quality assurance program for the conformance to project requirements. Coordinate planning, testing, inspections, and documentation with the contractor QC personnel.
 Review and evaluate Design Plan/Drawings for ACMV/HVAC, Medical Gas Line System, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Protection/Fire Fighting Design drawings, and Issue for Construction drawings.
 Evaluate bidder or suppliers qualifications.
 Project Management the technical construction including, Cooling Towers, AHU’s, Filtration systems, metal ducts, insulation, piping systems, pumps, extract fans, fan coil units and HVAC control system.
 Planning the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines and schedules
 Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
