Review HVAC engineering designs for commercial buildings, schools recreational facilities and residential housing produced by Design and Build Contractors to ensure all mechanical engineering elements comply with relevant ASHRAE codes and standards.
Review and evaluate submittals for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Materials, Method of Statement, Coordination Drawings, Shop Drawings, and calculation for approval.
Review and evaluate plans and drawings for any discrepancy with other trades or discipline.
Monitor and report on progress of mechanical works on site against project baseline schedule to identify potential delays and verify achievement of project milestone events.
Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other participants.
Review and evaluate plans and drawings for any discrepancy with other trades or discipline.
Closely monitor the activities of the contractor to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
Track, reviews, and takes appropriate actions on material and procedural submittals from the contractor.
Track and responds to RFI’s and requirements for the designs and solution to field conditions in a timely manner. Ensure the quality of contractor submitted RFI’s and timeliness of reviews.
Lead the project through all elements of the project proposal and design stage, through to construction documentation, attended meetings with client, architect, other consultant’s, project manager and contractors
Works with engineering department and engineer in charge of design to establish and appropriate design criteria for the assigned design project.
Monitors the execution of the quality assurance program for the conformance to project requirements. Coordinate planning, testing, inspections, and documentation with the contractor QC personnel.
Review and evaluate Design Plan/Drawings for ACMV/HVAC, Medical Gas Line System, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Protection/Fire Fighting Design drawings, and Issue for Construction drawings.
Evaluate bidder or suppliers qualifications.
Project Management the technical construction including, Cooling Towers, AHU’s, Filtration systems, metal ducts, insulation, piping systems, pumps, extract fans, fan coil units and HVAC control system.
Planning the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines and schedules
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site

Review equipment selection in line with building cooling load requirements. Review duct design, pipe work, pumps, heat exchangers, pressurization units, Fans, AHU’s and terminal units.
Lead the project through all elements of the project proposal and design stage, through to construction documentation, attended meetings with client, architect, other consultant’s, project manager and contractors
Project Management the technical construction including, Cooling Towers, AHU’s, Filtration systems, metal ducts, insulation, piping systems, pumps, extract fans, fan coil units and HVAC control systems.
Review Material submittals and construction schedules to ensure construction quality and sustainability.
Planning the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines and schedules.

Installation, testing and commissioning of all installed HVAC systems (e.g. chilled water lines & motors, Fire fighting pumps & motors, electrical controls & safety devices, ducting and air balancing.
In-charge operations, maintenance, repair and serviced of all HVAC equipment (e.g. chillers, package roof top units, split A/C units, window type A/C, water cooler, exhaust fan, water pumps & motors and etc.).
Preparing preventive and corrective maintenance schedule
Actual trouble shooting of electro-mechanical systems (e.g. safety devices, motor contactor, time delay relays, pressure switch, interlocking, motor resistance and switches.
Making daily accomplishment report submitting to the project manager.
Responsible for all activities, related to mechanical works.
Analysis of the building’s heating, ventilation, and cooling loads.
Evaluation of energy-efficiency impacts of various mechanical- or lighting-system applications, as well as building design alternatives (energy analysis).
Evaluation of water-efficiency impacts of various equipment, systems, and building options.

BMS Engineer & Programmer
In-charge of operation, maintenance, repair, serviced of HVAC equipment
Establishes jobs requirement form drawings and specifications and lays out installation reference points.
Test-operates refrigeration system, diagnose faults and repairs or replaces defective components.
Adjust systems controls and mechanism and re-assembles systems.
Records causes of malfunctioning and action taken for references.
To attend total maintenance of various types of HVAC systems'(chillers, air handling units, pumps, extract fan, motors, water coolers, cold stores and etc.) preventive maintenance of chilled water chillers, package type units, split types and etc.
Read & study electrical wiring diagrams, trouble shooting problems occurring in the chillers,
Air-handling units, fan coil units, package type units, split type units, window type and other units under our maintenance contract.
Read & study the HVAC layouts diagrams for an air-conditioning equipments, piping and ducting.
Installing new units at locations according to the technical drawings, specifications, instructions and blueprints. The jobs involves drilling of holes, installation of mounting brackets, cutting, bending & threading of pipes, installing components such as compressors, fan motors, condenser coils, evaporator coils, power supply, electrical controls & pressure switches. Soldering, welding or brazing of refrigerant pipes and connecting refrigeration components. Alignment and accuracy of fit has to be checked.
Filling of systems with nitrogen gas to check for leaks, removal of test gas using vacuum pumps and then filling of refrigerant.
Test the operation of the refrigeration systems, checking and making adjust where necessary
Maintenance, checking and overhauling of refrigeration system including compressors, pumps and motors.
Calibrating & adjusting of refrigeration systems controls & mechanisms such as high & low pressure control switch, capacity control valve, etc.
Daily routine check-up of chillers, package units and split units and data entries to log books of technical details like pressures reading, amperes, volts, temperatures, etc.
Diagnosesfaultsandrepairorreplacesthedefectivecomponents.Recordsthe causesofanymalfunctioningandremedialactiontakenintheregistercomplaints.
Check electrical connections; repair or replace contactor, timers, solenoid valve, etc.
