• Prepare work permit for the planned activities for pre-commissioning particularly Air Blowing of piping, water flushing, drying out of piping lines and nitrogen preservation.
• Supervise start up and commissioning activities of the power plant, including boiler, steam turbine generator and Balance of plant.
• Conduct Mechanical Run Test of all equipments in utility area and FOC area (Fuel Oil Complex)
• Assure all activities such as water flushing/ Air Blowing and reinstatement of piping components and local instruments, leak test, motor solo run-in, machinery run-in, as well as static equipment inspections, cleaning, internal installations and box- up are duly performed in accordance with the stated procedures, and in conformity with the safety rules and as per the instruction of Commissioning Manager or Commissioning Superintendent.
• Conduct Air Blowing, Water flushing, chemical cleaning, nitrogen preservation of piping in Systems and Sub systems.
• Supervise discipline sub contractors punch list close out as per given priority by the Pre-commissioning team.
• Maintain updated progress report of closed punch list items
• Monitor status of pending priority punch list items in each sub system and keep Construction Management informed
• Receive (by discipline supervisors) original punch list recording them on the punch list record
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Supervise start up and commissioning activities of the power plant, including boiler, steam turbine generator and Balance of plant.
• Coordinate with respective vendor for all equipment on boiler side, steam turbine side and balance of plant equipment particularly on FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurization, ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator), Bottom Ash, Fly Ash, both on dry side and wet side.
• Follow up loading of coal to coal bunkers as well as in the Coal Storage area, Jetty area receiving coal from barges.
• Coordinate with the Load Dispatching Center for the required generated load megawatts to be produced at a specific time.
• Coordinate with PTW (Permit To Work ) Coordinator for any equipment to be done by maintenance personnel in order to attain a accident free environment and protection of equipment and safety of personnel working in the plant.
• Maintain harmonious relation and camaraderie with all staffs working in the CCR (Central Control Room)) as well as outside field personnel in order to attain a successful, efficient and risk free environment. of a power plant.
• Aware of the latest trend in safety application and protection and disseminate to fellow personnel working in the power plant.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Reporting to the Utility Commissioning Head
• Supervise personnel on the start-up and commissioning of utility unit and equipment for the Ammonia Plant and Urea Plant respectively.
• Check the feasibility of pre-commissioning/commissioning of procured item/units in coordination
with the Construction Team.
• Close coordination with HSE and QA/QC departments to set up the procedures for safe
and efficient pre-commissioning/commissioning activities.
• Supervise commissioning and operation personnel activities during start up of utility equipment particularly
Gas Turbines, HRSGs, Emergency Diesel Generators, Closed Circuit Water Systems, Fire Fighting Systems
Waste Water Systems, Flare Systems, Instrument Air and Service Air Systems, Sea Water Systems, Demineralized water Unit Systems, Chlorination Unit Systems.
• Supervise task force personnel on the loading and unloading of by-product of the fertilizer plant which is the 40 % Ammonium Sulfate Solutions to temporary tanks.
• Maintain harmonious relations with the superiors and other commissioning personnel as well as to subordinates in the plant.
A) Prepare pre-commissioning procedures for power plants, oil and gas palnts and refineries.
B) Supervise personnel during the execution of activities in the field.
