Currently working as Mechanical Design Draftsman for EMIRATES STEEL
Design and modify new and existing products using CAD softwares (Solidworks, Unigraphics & Autocad).
Design of Press tools, (Compound tools, Progressive Tools, Drawing Tools) and Design of Mech. Equipment’s such as Gears, Rollers, Shafts, Bushes, Hubs, Bearings etc.
Design of Jigs & Fixtures.
Design shop floor drawings and assigning job for Technicians and Operators.
Developing drawings from customer samples and sketches.
High knowledge of design principles, instruments, techniques and tools.
Exceptional knowledge of machine tool construction and design.
Developing R&D Drawings using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges, Profile
Projectors, Height -Gauges etc.
Making fabrication drawings, Workshop drawings, CNC and other machining drawings for Production and Assembly Line.
Developing Q.C Drawings by applying GDnT & International Standards such as ASME, ISO Etc.
The ability to communicate in written and oral formats with diplomacy and tact.
Developing Drawings as per the customer specifications and standards.
Design Reviewing and approving them before Production and Manufacturing.
Responsible to make Presentations and Documentations.
Attending Customer meetings and providing Design and manufacturing solutions.
Working closely with the sales and Engineering team.
Providing job Quotations and supporting the RFQ Team.
Design Process checking with Chinese and Singapore vendors.
Knowledge in Sheet metal designing processes, Molding Processes, Welding Standards, Welding Symbols, ASME Standards, ISO Standards, etc.
Designing concept Models, Designing 3d Prototypes for Machining them on C.N.C Machining, Vac-cum Forming.
Market study of the existing products and designing new patent models using solid works.
Conducting Costing and Estimation study's on the parts and reviewing the products before manufacturing and marketing.
Conducting project discussions with Sales team, Market Research Experts, Collecting Customer feedback reviews and Top level Management discussions based on all the followups.
3d Modeling, Surface Designing, Running Stimulation on Parts, Part Assembly, Making B.O.M and Conducting Product Analysis Reports.
Providing Technical Assistance's and motivating team members.
Product Designing using latest softwares such as Solid works, Catia, Nx-6,Ansys,Alias,Mould Flow. Hand Sketching. Design Thinking. Concept Designing. Market research and Market study. Tool Designing. Industrial Designing. Design and Ergonomic study's. Colouring and sketching ideas. Pencil Drawing. Design Drafting. Prototype Developing from Rose Wood as the Material.
