Provided initial assessment and safe care to stabilize patients in a fast-pace, 34- bed specialized facility for critical and emergency care
•Supervised Nurse assistant and served as a preceptor/mentor to new nursing staff.
•Knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifying arrhythmia, and intervening using ACLS algorithm and physician’s orders.

•Perform procedures back slab application such as including catheterization, IV cannulation and dressing changes. Assists physician in CVP line insertion, Chest Tube Insertion, Arterial Line insertion and minor suturing procedures.
•Coordinated quality and timely care of patients presenting with a STEMI to ensure their safe and expedient transfer to the Cath Lab for further intervention.
•Administered IV fluids and medications including antibiotics, packed RBC's, and narcotics, while carefully monitoring for side effects or any adverse reactions.
EMERGENCY STAFF NURSE
Effectively assessed needs of patients by triaging to determine acuity levels and requirements to carry out the best possible care.
•Ensure the provision of quality emergency medical care to patients requiring emergency treatment in accordance with physician orders, hospital policy, and standard nursing practice.
•Evaluation and recording of patient's conditions.
•Assist in various procedures like Intubation, Ryle's Tube insertion and Foley's Catheter Insertion etc
