As an editor at a scientific think tank, I had the following
responsibilities:
-To ensure the proper language, style, and flow of scientific reports
intended for different government organisations, corporate bodies,
education institutions, and NGOs
-To help authors achieve the proper flow, structure, and clarity in
op-ed articles, policy briefs, concept notes, and other documents
-To edit various external-engagement documents such as meeting
agendas
and invitations as well as proposals
-To coordinate among authors, editors, and reviewers in the
process workflow
I started as an author and moved on to copy editing.
I was responsible for ensuring the proper structure, flow,
grammar, spelling, and style in various e-learning projects. The
projects ranged from textbooks, educational videos, PowerPoint
presentations, audio scripts all the way to educational simulations.
I also helped train different authors, editors, and copy editors in the
basics of language, grammar, and style.
My CGPA was 6.69.
