• Prepare design criteria and perform design analysis of high-rise/low-rise structures.
• Prepare calculation report and design drawing conforming to international codes namely UBC/IBC, ASCE 7, BSI, ASTM & ACI codes, and other recognized standards, relating to new high-rise structures.
• Modeling, Analysis & designing using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and STAAD PRO.
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers for the continuity of the project.
• Developed and implemented engineering solutions for project and design issues.
• Review and approve steel structures like auditorium, two-story office building, temporary offices, connecting bridges(21m), cooling tower, pipe rack, pipe supports (T and Goal post), canopies, steel fence, curtainwalls, steel frame for cladding panels, steel platform, ladder, and crossovers.
• Review and approve substations, underground fuel tanks, tower crane foundation, underground water tanks, drainage system and concrete trenches.
• Review and approve precast members like TT slabs, hollow core slabs, precast stairs, precast beam, claddings.
• Monitor construction
• Review and evaluate the contractor’s submitted design calculations/technical documents, shop drawings, method of statement for construction, and test reports.
• Responsible to monitor the work done on-site as per the design intended and release JSI and NCR if required.
• Leading the structural design team assigned to the project.
• Conduct and review required civil/structural tests.
• Responsible for the detailed design of high-rise/low-rise structures
• Prepare technical documentation to conform to UBC/IBC, ASCE 7, BSI, ASTM & ACI codes, and other recognized standards, relating to new high-rise structures, and other civil infrastructure projects.
• Modeling, Analysis & designing using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Prokon, and STAAD PRO.
• Prepare to take full responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detailed design.
• Coordinating the work with other members of the project team.
• Review of contractor’s submittals.
• Ensure that Civil / Structural tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented by Quality Management System.
• Complete analysis, design and also inspected in site elements in the structure which includes slabs (solid, flat), Beams, Columns, Walls & Foundations (Isolated foundation, combined foundation, raft foundation, piles & pile-caps).
• Modeling, Analysis & Design using STAAD, SAP & ETABS.
• Detailing of Reinforcement.
• Checking the final drawings.
• Checking & approving the shop drawings & as built drawing.
• Verification of Test results from the laboratory.
• Technical Presentations to Clients and Contractors.
• Routine visit to sites. Inspection of civil/structural works, water proofing and finishes
• Complete Analysis of RCC structure using STAAD.Pro, ETABS including seismic and wind Analysis According to IS codes.
• RCC Element design using Excel spread sheets as per IS codes
• Checking of design drawings as per design markups.
• Documenting of calculations, markups and check prints to follow IS standards
• Reporting to Design Manager
• Site inspection.
