• Produce Nostro Cash flow for dealers for bank’s financial position.
• Produce Foreign Exchange position.
• Provide FX rates into the system for counter and standard rates for the bank and change the FX rates whenever it is required during the course of the day.
• Monitoring various Treasury’s limits such as Counterparty, Country, Currency, Trader’s etc., Reporting excess limits to the management.
• Verification and authorization of all deal tickets (FX, SWAPS, Money Market, Bonds) with deal confirmations.
• Monitoring trader’s FX overnight orders.
• Preparing Central Bank reports such as Daily customer’s USD & KWD deposit rates, Daily actual customer’s deposits rates statistics, Daily Central Bank report on deposit rates, Daily interbank Money Market dealings in KWD, Daily interbank swaps & forwards against KWD.
• Daily supervision of USD/KWD covering with the Central Bank of Kuwait.
• Reporting currency FX position to the dealers.
• Investigate receipt/payment failure, wrong debit/credit or erroneous reporting/posting for Treasury Reconciliation. Co-ordinate with various departments in the institution such as Financial Accounts, Treasury Operations, L/C, L/G, CPD, Branches, card division for Treasury reconciliation purpose.
Additional Work information
• Through knowledge of USD/KWD Central bank covering. Providing details of breakdown of sales and purchases to the Central Bank of Kuwait on a daily basis.
• Good knowledge in using Thomson Reuters Eikon.
• Monitoring orders placed by the dealers in different platforms such as JP Morgan direct, Barclays BARX platform, Reuters FXALL, Citi Velocity etc.
General administrative functions such as Office management, business correspondence, generation of monthly MIS reports of sales & collection, interaction with Financial Institutions and & monitor banking operations of Bank Guarantee and Letter of Credit.
Receive daily Foreign exchange and deposit rates from local bank of various currencies and input into the system to monitor the variation. Preparing quotations, foreign currency conversion (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY and other Currencies) to KWD for Costing and Pricing of various imported products.
Accounting allied job such as, Ledger Posting, Invoicing, Budgetary control, Inventory checking and Fund Flow Analysis (Cash flow). Recording daily transactions, management reporting, monitor day-to-day sales activities.
