Working for a leading oil company as outsourced
and maintaining IT infrastructure (On-premise and Cloud)
•Working closely with Procurement team for the contract renewals, new requirements and Project deliveries.
•Work with suppliers and make sure the quality and service of the products and overseeing the requirements and refreshments of IT infrastructure within the allocated budgets.
•Managing, maintaining and monitoring datacenter. (Production and DR sites)
•Managing & maintaining Virtual Environment (VMWare and Hyper-V)
•Managing Microsoft products (Exchange Server, Skype For Business, Teams, SCOM, SCCM)
•Responsible for Active Directory management, creating the appropriate policies and deploying the accurate IT security policies
•Managing backup solutions ( Veritas, Actifio), Tape Libraries and off site backup
•Managing Antivirus Solutions - (McAfee, Kaspersky, Windows Defender ATP.
•Managing the Storage - MSA, VLS, 3PAR & ScaleIO hyper converge solutions
•Managing the FTP Server
•Managing the Temptrak ( Temperature monitoring solution for the server rooms, chillers and restaurants)
•Document the work and troubleshooting steps Train the colleagues
•Maintain good relationship with all the suppliers and vendors and make the necessary actions for renewing all the support contracts and procurement procedures
•Managing the digital signage systems in the park
•Assist in troubleshooting all the application servers like Omniticket, Maximo, Info Genesis, Eatec, SharePoint, CRM, Kronos, BizTalk, Tableau
•Performing system administration duties on company computing environment including install, debug, maintain, upgrade, and general support Evaluate, test, and deploy all software and hardware upgrades to the server infrastructure
•Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
•Assist in developing, implementing, testing and maintaining server level disaster recovery plans
•Collect and review system data for capacity and planning purposes
•Interface with vendors for maintenance of all IT infrastructures Manage & troubleshoot mailing, anti-virus and anti-spam systems Oversee database backup, and perform recovery and recovery test Work closely with the rest of the team to provide end-user support and issue resolution Research, evaluate and recommend system technologies to support business requirements Rigorously create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures Lead, train and support the work of other staff engaged in similar functions Research the company's computer-related activities as they relate to network
service calls and completes the calls within the restricted time
•Check the main queue of Service calls and resolve the calls through remote connectivity and assign the calls to different field engineers at different locations
•Manage and allocate the work for the consultants
•Generating the reports for service calls
•Installation and Support for a number of banking applications like Mosaic, Omniflow, Swift, CRM, Altris, Citrix, Bloomberg, ICCS, Globus, etc
•Cisco and Nortel Phone configuration
•Cisco NAC implementation
•In case we can't resolve the issue through remote connectivity attend the issue directly in the site Manage and involve in major projects like new branch setup (Mosaic server Preparation, PCs, Printers & Scanners setup)
•Installing servers for different applications
•Managing printers in network Datacenter support Mounting installing and troubleshooting all types of servers and enclosures
•Major Projects handled: New Datacenter setup and datacenter movement, Vista Rollout, CISCO NAC
