Job Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Explain the HSE obligations to the various players involved and ensures that the site staffs promote awareness among workers of the HSE approach, good safety behavior and IIF program.
- Provides technical guidance on implementation of the HSE program to the Construction team and propose to the HSE Management ideas to continually improve the effectiveness of the system.
- Ensure that the HSE program needed for the safe execution of the works are established, applied
And maintained on site. Otherwise, alert construction team on the findings and make sure that corrective actions are implemented for compliance.
- Carry out daily HSE walk through in his designated area to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Work Method Statement, the HSE Plan/Procedures and the relevant legislation.
- Advise construction team on any HSE concerns, report unsafe situations and work with them to rectify it. Ensure that personnel allocated to the works are properly trained, qualified and informed.
- Report daily and seek advice from the HSE Management. Request the intervention of the HSE Management in the event of difficulties encountered in implementing the HSE System.
- Participate actively to the weekly Management Safety Tour, submit a report of the findings and ensure their closure in time with construction team and the HSE Supervisors (maintain up to date the MST register).
- Liaise with IMAC & PMCM HSE Team on site to gain feedback and closure on their observations and report it to the HSE Management. Produce other reports for HSE Management, when requested
