My work with Vibes Events is varied according to their event personnel needs. Below are the jobs I undertook through their company and a brief description of the work accomplished.

March 2016: Promoter, F&B and Bar catering for Electrolux VIP Hospitality. Promoting the Electrolux stands, while also managing and catering the food and beverage buffet and bar.

February 2016: Hostessing for Etisalat, Jabal Ali Racecourse. Hostessing at the Etisalat stand and obstacle course at the Spartan Race.

November 2015 to January 2016: Brand promoter for Beam Wallet, at VOX cinemas. Promoting and selling a new financial application to customers while also offering mobile support and installation.

December 2014: Dubai Football Challenge, The Sevens Stadium. Hostessing at the Real Madrid vs AC Milan match.

Punching orders in Micros system and billing. Understanding of menu and prices. Answering phone calls and making reservations. Cheque logging for internal control. Lay out of tables and chairs and their set-up. Setting up tray/table up to standards and providing appropriate cutlery. Procedure of greeting and seating the guest. Procedure of serving hot and cold beverages. Tea and coffee refill sequence. Mis-en-place preparation. Napkin folding. Clearance procedure. Procedure of serving and setting up the order in the guests room.

Managerial Skills learnt in Housekeeping:
Cleaning hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and employee and storage areas in the hotel as directed by Inspector, Housekeeping Lead, Supervisor, or Manager. Signing and securing room keys. Ensuring all linen and terry are without defect before placing them in the guest room. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance, correct deficiencies. Assuring that every room is clean and everything in room is in proper working order. Cleaning and maintaining workstation, including stocking cart.
