* Responsible for managing the Project Procurement and Materials team.
* Ensure that contract creation, execution and analysis are carried out for maximizing operational and
financial performance and minimizing risk.
* Handle on going issue, change management and necessary modifications in the contract, ensuring both
parties meet or exceed each other's Expectations.
* Assist project manager and project team in formulating the RFQ capturing all the project / client
requirements.
* Handle New Project Tender Enquires and support the estimation team in bid compiling.
* Generation of project procurement procedures in line with the project requirement.
* Generate various weekly, monthly and yearly reports for management reporting, follow-ups and
continuous improvement of the activities

KEY RESULT AREAS:

* Handling materials such as project materials - Structural, Piping, packages, Welding items, E&I,
construction aid, Chemicals and Barge Spares & consumables - Engine Spares, Heavy Equipment
spares, Barge Equipment Spares Electrical Items, Equipment, Rigging Items and General Consumables.
* Responsibility for managing a team of 25 employees stationed over 4 different warehouses.
* Accountable for successful Control of warehouse operations, including receipt & issuance of Materials to
the project on time.
* Successfully planned (to get maximum storage area), set layout (for easy access and min handling) and
setting up a new warehouse (with min coast) and storage area at the company’s new facility at ICAD II.
* Done various exercises to reduce the stock value by 15 - 20% and achieved 16.5% within 2 years without
affecting the smooth functioning of the operation
* Supervise inventory transfer/stock sharing between Company Barges and Vessels for better stock
utilization and reducing the purchase.
* Planning and executing the material storage system for enhancing material life and proper inventory
control.
* Analyse consumption patterns and suggest improvement to reduce consumption.
* Evaluate technical specifications and economic factors relating to material that can be used and
suggest the best method of disposal in case of a write-off.
* Manage audits to ensure inventory compliance within the main warehouse and other offshore stores.

Proven experience managing supply chain operations and leading project & marine procurement team.
* Preparing and maintaining project procurement plan and establishing accurate sourcing processes,
execute procurement activities in the project.
* Analyse the scope of supply and contract agreements, carry out risk analyses and introduce
recommendations to prepare for negotiations with suppliers (back-to-back where appropriate).
* Lead commercial negotiations with bidders to secure the most competitive offers that provide the
company with the best value for money.
* Prepare Techno commercial evaluations of the received quotations for easy decision making.
* Check and regularize Performance Bank Guarantees, Advance Bank Guarantees and Invoices.
* Flagging potential delays and submitting weekly reports for the Project Control Manager & Project
Management Team to align the schedule and preparation of Risk analysis and mitigation.
* Coordinate with the vendor and stores for resolution of all after-supply claims (warranties, defects, etc.)
* Heading pre-qualification meetings and assessing the scope of supply and quality standards followed by
the new suppliers
* Monitor and report on supplier performance, and facilitate regular performance reviews with
stakeholders in order to assess value and quality of supplier services / products and inform decision-
making on future collaborations.
* Good knowledge of Incoterms terms and relevant local customs regulations.
