Responsible for managing international logistics operations and ensure efficient logistics process for organization.
• Establish, manage and optimize logistics and shipping processes for the organisation.
• Build strong relationships with overseas vendors and counterparts.
• Identify, negotiate and establish service agreements with 3rd party logistics providers for handling imports, customs clearance, storage activities.

• Responsible for shipping operation of the company ensuring timely Custom clearance of shipments enhancing on time product availability to the market with adherence to all legal rules and company guidelines.
• Manage 3PL, maintain efficient interface with freight forwarders and administer all freight logistics concerns and resolve shipment related issues.
• Set policies and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for organization.
• Perform vendor due diligence (evaluate payment terms, lead time expectancy, service level agreements, special rates).
• Participate in planning, setting priorities, organizing, scheduling work and problem solving on all matters related to procurement and logistics with senior management while continuous process improvement.
• Generate MIS reports to support weekly and monthly management meetings to enhance overall business strategy.
• Warehouse management, supervise and oversee productivity levels of the team in-order to make sure that goals are achieved.
• Interact with Government regulatory authorities such as Import & Export Control Dept. and Customs.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as logistics team, supply planning team, regulatory authorities, local and global vendors etc.)

Developing process improvement activities such as planning & executing consolidated shipment decisions to control budget.
Generate reports on shipment status to support weekly/monthly management meetings.
Review freight invoices from forwarders to ensure accuracy and compliance with the pre-agreed rates and terms to facilitate payment.
Maintain records in accordance with company procedures, monitoring shipping documents for tariff, HS classification and customs regulations.
Updating the organization regarding changes in rules, policies and programs of customs.
Participate in planning, setting priorities, organizing, scheduling work and problem solving on shipments with other team members.
