● Assist the ATC Team Leader in carrying out all level of preventive and
corrective maintenance activities on the automatic train control system
● Install, service and repair signaling and train control systems located in
operations control center, Backup OCC, signaling equipment room, station
signaling equipment rooms, depot signaling equipment rooms, along
trackside and on-board trains.
● Carry out repair and maintenance work with the use of hand, replace faulty
signaling equipment, and handover / taken back tothe electronics workshop
for repair.
● Maintain accurate maintenance records of automatic train control and
BBR system and equipment performance, workaccomplished and other
information using a computerized maintenance management system.
● Quickly recognizes and gets to grips with increasingly complexscenarios.
Secures and compares information from multiple sources and exercises
judgment to close the gaps in data and deal with increasing levels of
ambiguity.

● Manual train driving in Metro depot stabling, Light maintenance track,
heavy maintenance track, connecting track in coordinate with depot
controller through radio and phone.
● Manual driving of train in mainline in situations such as transferring
train from one track to another, if train got fault and in emergency
situations in coordinate with train controller by radio
● Respond to any emergency situation in train
● Resetting CCTV and smoke detector in train
● Train sweeping while entering and removing train from mainline
● Main line sweeping by on boarding the train in auto mode before
starting the revenue hours and repot any abnormalities to train
controllers and respond to any unusual situations
● Assist the station master in station duties
● Testing of emergency buttons in train.
● Performing train evacuations station evacuations if needed.

● Provide tickets sales, train services information and respond to
passenger enquiries
● Assist passengers with special accessibility needs. Perform and carry
out shift duties and other special duties as instructed by Station Master
and Head of Operations
● Distribute publicity materials and handle lost property.
● Monitor and maintain station operational status and to ensure the
safety and comfort of passenger movement within the station premises.
● Carry out controlled/uncontrolled/emergency evacuation of passengers.
● Control and mitigate overcrowding in station and platforms to ensure
that passengers flows are managed in an orderly manner
