Role and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Executive Director, Responsible for all IT/IS related matters including Budget preparation, Strategic and operational initiatives, ERP implementation and post implementation support, Data Center Management, IT Policies Development & compliance, Service Desk Management, In-house Business Applications development, Business Intelligence Apps & Dashboard, CRM and Support functions.

• Plan, execute, control and maintain IS Infrastructure and Business Application Development and support division.

• Devise and implement corporate DR and Backup strategy, Security and IT policies and Standard operating procedures.
• Monitor Services Help Desk, improve response time through KPI setting and balance allocation of resources.
• Manage IS Infrastructure and Business Applications support Team in all HR aspects. Eg: Hiring, training, mentoring, guiding, Appraisals, Project assignment and management.
• As an ERP Manager, look after business processes alignment with ERP System, provide support through Technical (ABAP) team, Manage Authorizations & ERP Administration (BASIS), Manage Licensing and Audits.
• Develop and Manage the Corporate IT Capex / Opex Budget and related financial aspect of IT Department.
• IT Policies development and implantation e.g.:Access control, change control, Password, Fair use, DR policies

Initiate, plan, budget, monitor and control Datacenter Project. Macter now has fully functional datacenter with Access and environment monitoring system, redundant power supply, fire suppression system, raise flooring, cable management etc. The project is completed within budget, planned timeline and with desired level of quality.

ERP(SAP) Implementation (Jan 2012- Jun 2012)

As an SAP ERP Project Manager responsible for End to End ERP implementation at Macter from Budget preparation, Selection of product and vendor to ERP Implementation and support.. Prepare ERP Project master plan and implementation road map, develop ERP project team control structure, select power user, make and execute strategy to prepare organization for change. Select vendor and consulting team. Negotiate Implementation Contract, SAP software licenses and Hardware prices. Select, Procure and deploy hardware/software solution and save millions. Manage Project life cycle using ASAP (Preparation, Business Blue print, Realization and UAT, Go-Live). Participate in all aspect of ERP project including business processes and operations refinement with functional heads. SAP Successfully Go-live at Macter International in a record period of 6 months with seven modules PP, MM, QM, SD, FICO, HCM and Plant Maintenance modules.

As an In-charge of Group of company's Business Applications and Databases, summery of my responsibilities are as follows:

Business Applications Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and support:

Responsible for full life cycle of Business Software Development, implementation, maintenance and support for Group of companies. As an In-charge of Software and Databases area, Play leading role in Business Processes Streamlining and systems and database development, enhancement(Change Management), Integration, Implementation and support activities. Major Business Applications following the SDLC includes Sales and Distribution, Web based Online Distributor ordering System, Claim settlement, Batch Production System, GL, Planning and forecast system, Inventory Management and Control, GPO (General Purchase System), MTM (Material Transfer Memo), Payroll, Samples Budget and inventory System, Doctors Call reporting, Marketing budget, Helpdesk system for I.T support & KPI's etc.

Achievements:

•Implement online sales order generation and replenishment System for Hilton distributors spread all over Pakistan. The Project not only improve order to cash and stock replenishment cycle but also efficiently manage triple constraint (time, quality and cost).

•Integrate Isolated Business Applications and processes, giving management a complete picture of the Business processes, provide better inventory stock level and control at the same time enhance efficiency at all level.

SAP ERP Implementation Project :
Participated in full life cycle from ERP project inception to implementation in consultation with a senior manager and project director in selection, budget preparation, Hardware selection, SAP hardware sizing, building ERP implementation strategy and holding meetings with stakeholders.
Responsible for BASIS (Authorizations, Installation of landscape, DR Strategy with Oracle Dataguard implementation, Backup and Recovery (BRtools/Enterprise Manager), SAP DBA Activities, transports management, and support.

Other key Initiatives and Achievements:

•Developed and implement strategy to make Automatic sales order with reconciliation from legacy systems to SAP in a record period of one week to meet project deadline.

CRM/Mobile Applications, Business Intelligence, Dash boards and Data warehouse:
(For 700+ Sales field force)
Design, developed and Implement SMS based doctors call reporting system for field force of 700+, Also implemented ROI reports, Business Intelligence reports and Interactive Dash board for Marketing Management and field force all over Pakistan.

•Doctor Call reporting systems enable management to not only view sales rep. activity but also product promotion plan execution, Product and Doctors coverage and many other dimensions which are not possible to view through manual reporting, another achievement of this project is its high efficiency and integration with other systems such as Doctors Database. This solution is highly customizable, practical, flexible and low in cost as compare to software implementation offer by companies in the market.

Database Administration activities: Responsible for smooth running of all Group of company's Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), setup Distributed environment, heterogeneous database service(Transparent Gateway), Oracle MV Replication, Backup and Recovery, Database Cloning, Performance and tuning of application and Databases, Database Security, ETL using Export/Import, SQL Loader, Parallel SQL using Heterogeneous service, Partitioning of tables and indexes, Dimension and cube building for CRM application using external data. Tablespace and user management.
Off the shelve systems implementation:
Play a leading role in implementation of third party software such as Sales Analysis System (Sales Analytical and multi-dimensional report system), Time Management System (TMS), Daily Sales Reporting (IMS) .

Business Systems Supervision, Design, Development, Implementation and support:
Responsible for development, enhancements, and user support of Impex and Clearing, HR, Help Desk, Sales monitoring and retail tracking systems. Also responsible for Database Administration. (Backup recovery, upgrade, database and application tuning etc.

Responsible for project development and implementation. Purchase Payable module includes requisition, Purchase order, Asset receiving, Invoice and payment functions with the two eye approach model.

Of assets from one branch to another, and depreciation process.
Security module which is tightly integrated with the FAMS and Purchase payable module ensures authorize user access and complete data security solution.

Inventory Control System and Point of Sales System

Responsible to manage and play a leading role in all aspect of the project building such as Structure design, Transaction Form development, Database triggers, functions and procedure development, reports development, performance and tuning and implementation of the system.
The inventory control system is a centralized back office system which keeps track all stock information within the main warehouse and individual point of sales. The system gives complete picture of the retail outlet performance as well as stock handling.

Responsible for project initiation to implementation. This system schedules and record preventive maintenance procedures for the equipment at client location.
