Duties and Responsibilities:
•Review WPS and PQR prior to issue
•Conducting PQR and Welder Qualification tests.
•Witness for Visual & Fit up inspection
•Ensure that correct WPS are followed during welding as per specifications
•Liaison with concerned for carrying out site quality audits as per audit schedule and implements corrective actions as required.
•Maintain approved welders register.
•Ensure implementation of consumable control procedures at workshop.
•Prepare daily inspection reports.
•Check As built mark ups for correctness.
•Monitoring and recording of welding parameters.
•Reports Head of Inspection and QA/QC Manager.
•Verify the Calibration Certificates of welding Equipment and Pressure Gauges,
•Obtain, read and understand the specifications.
•Witness and inspection of surface profile and surface cleanliness.
•Monitoring and inspection of painting storage material.
•Conducting And Witness of WQT & PQR As per Implemented Code and specification.
•Review of Daily Welding Reports,
•Daily monitoring Electrode storage & holding Temperature,
•Carry out Visual Welding Inspection after the welding.
•Review And Witness for UT, MPI, PT, PMI & HARDNESS TESTING,
•Reviewing of Radiography Films, other

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervises the inspection and certification of all plant and equipment Petrochemical
Plant facilities and ensures that written reports are compiled as necessary.
•Ensures that proper, Inspection Report (IRs), Repair and Recommendations reports are issued After assessing integrity of plant equipment, including proper identification of damages, Affected areas, and specifications. Also, liaise with Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor timely Execution of IRs.
•Liaises with the Workshops Supervisor to provide inspection services for all Works undertaken by the Workshop. Includes defining specifications and requirements
•Sets up and maintains comprehensive records of all Plant and equipment and compiles Technical reports for Fitness-for-Service of equipment as needed to ensure their integrity And safe operation.
•Advices Inspection Supervisor in preparation/compiling 5-Year Plan and equipment replacement Plans, including major inspection projects as required in the plants.
•Coordinate Turnaround Inspection works and participates in routine definition meetings.
•Supervises Outsourced Inspection Contractor and ensures that all shutdown works are Properly inspected. Also, ensures proper reporting and re-endorsing of equipment for Service.
•Assesses and advises Head of Inspection the need for the services of specialist contractors and the Capability of potential contractors to satisfy such needs.
•Provides technical advice to Head of Inspection, to ensure compliance with accepted Company Standards.
•Maintains Plant and Equipment overdue for inspection schedules and takes Appropriate control action.
•Ensures that safe operating and maintenance procedures related to inspection Activities are followed, and counsels employees about compliance with safe working Procedures as necessary.
•Assist and supports engineering Project Department with the following duties:
1. Supervision Heat Exchangers fabrication at PT. Sanggar Sarana Baja for PT.

•Verify the inspection of Material and Test certificates prior to Fabrication,
•Witness for Visual & Fit up inspection
•Ensure that correct WPS are followed during welding as per specifications
•Prepare daily inspection reports.
•Check As built mark ups for correctness.
•Monitoring and recording of welding parameters.
•Reports Head of Inspection and QA/QC Manager.
•Verify the Calibration Certificates of welding Equipment and Pressure Gauges,
•Obtain, read and understand the specifications.
•Witness and inspection of surface profile and surface cleanliness.
•Monitoring and inspection of painting storage material.
•Conducting And Witness of WQT & PQR As per Implemented Code and Speciation
•Review of Daily Welding Reports,
•Daily monitoring Electrode storage & holding Temperature,
•Carry out Visual Welding Inspection after the welding.
•Review and Witness for UT, MPI, PT, PMI & HARDNESS TESTING,
•Reviewing of Radiography Films, other NDT methods
•Witnessing Pneumatic test, Vacuum box test, Hydro static test
•Reviews of PWHT Charts & Reports,
•Interpretation of radiographs. Verifying summary and documentation control and ensure all
•Inspection to be according to ITP. To assist NDT personals and NDT requirements.
•Random Checking Welding parameters as per WPS Requirement,
•Monitoring Daily Welding Activities as per Approved WPS.
•Expediting the implementation of corrective and preventative actions
•Verify the Calibration Certificates of welding Equipment and Pressure Gauges.
