1- select the optimum material required for every single part of the product to be in homogeneity with each other when they are collected together
2- Design heat treatment of heat treatable parts before and during production
3- Design surface treatment condition for coated parts
4- make failure analysis for defected parts to realise whether there's metallurgical fault or not. And take the corrective action with cooperation of production department
5- make specification sheet for all materials used in the factory "direct or indirect"
6- make market research and full analysis for the raw materials used in our factory and recommend the best supplier or manufacturer
7- Do my best to replace the imported materials with local materials which can perform the same mechanical properties
8- Use ORACLE ERP system to close the loop with other departments and inform them with specifications
9- part of research team to invent new products and develop the current products
10- part of supply chain team

In production planning department
• Plan the operations to obtain optimum performance.
• coordinate the 4Ms manpower, Machine, raw materials and method needed to cover Production.
• Schedule night shifts according to production needs
• control the plan to ensure that it will be finished on time and within budget
. • make daily, weekly and monthly report of our current situation (number of finished Products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.
Inproject management department
• Search for the machines which is suitable for our required target and future needs within specific budget
• Make technical andfinancial comparison between similar machines.
• Take the layout of the machines and allocate them in the CAD drawing of the factory
• Make the plan of the project implementation
• Control the plan during the project
