- Develop the Project Plan with the team and manage the team’s performance of project tasks
- Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders
- Communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team
- Making sure the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope
Manage and perform profit manager calibration which includes:
- Data Gathering and processing
- Validating data
- Calibrating the system taking into consideration the following:
Network definition: defining the different segmentation and networks to be used including the geographical information, fare classes, point of origin, city markets.
HI/LO fare mapping:
Market Size breakdown: producing good market size breakdown (percentages of passengers on each fare)
TOW processes: producing Time of Week curves for fare classes and point of origin market

Market size
LFCF: calculating Load Factor on closed flights for entity fare class market using yield management data and booking history.
CV: measure coefficient of variation - a measure of degree of variability in passenger demand for all markets.
Revenue: derive average passenger revenues per Origin destination so that total network revenues and profitability can be furcated.
Cost:
- Validating the forecasts
Support network analysts as one cohesive team in providing feedback and exchanging information on a continuous basis and thereby refining inputs that are used by the model
Other duties:
- Prepare and update calibration documentation
- Present the forecast scenarios to management
- Conduct a detailed and thorough analysis related to GF long term network strategy covering wide range of aspects, new routes, fleet planning and yearly budget analysis
- Conduct various SWOT analysis based upon competitors data and benchmark our products
-Provide appropriate recommendations to the department management about how to improve the performance of the current network
- Conceptualizes, designs, constructs, tests, and implements portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
- Interacts with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context and organizational strategic direction.
- Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Collects, identifies, defines, and organizes detailed user and information technology requirements.
- Coordinates and collaborates with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
- Confirms and prioritizes project plans and deliverables with the customer.
- Participates in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
- Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems.
- Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria.
- Prepares system documentation.
- Establishes and maintains security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents.
- Participates in special studies, marketing efforts and formal proposals. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies
-Design, develop, and maintain the Intranet site for Gulf Air
-Create web applications to automate some of the manual processes in Gulf Air
-Support existing systems
