* Played a significant role in the restructuring of the finance department, initiating the reporting process and
gaining donors trust
* Developed and managed yearly projections for Red Cross along with initiative recommendations and
determining the impact of changes in decisive parameters on an ongoing basis
* Responsible for reviewing, monitoring and analyzing the reasonableness of budgetary requests,
recommending appropriate balance and use of limited resources
* Developed and updated budget policies and procedure and communicated approach and timeline
throughout the society
* Led donor updates, communications on existing and potential MOUs and reporting on the feasibility of
proposed projects or assignments
* Responsible for accounting allocations and flow of payments and charges across programs and initiatives
* Ensured that the closing checklist and bank reconciliations are properly and completely executed in order
to close the society’s accounts and produce financial statements
* Maintained and approved changes to the chart of account (adding and deleting or deactivating an account)
* Coordinated flow of projects with departments and responsible for balancing availability of funds
* Reconciled requisitions to actual payments and budget accounting
* Developed and led data analytics across functions given in-depth knowledge of software and database
systems
* Prepared and analyzed periodic reporting data related to operational performance, variances and metrics
* Monitored budgeted and forecasted numbers on a regular basis
* Oversaw all cash requests based on need and budget of each project
* Managed the branch consolidation project along with the unification of the NSSF and MOF number
* Initiated the formulation of a core cost policy
* Led and completed yearly audit reviews alongside auditors and coordinators
