• Ensure project budgets are aligned with MAFV objectives for Business units.
• Strategic tendering, commercial analysis and contract management processes.
• Ensure Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitations to Tenders are issued and tender documents are alignment with business requirements.
• Review tender documentation and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with MAF V business requirements, and documented processes. Review & monitor compliance of the Policies & guidelines.
• Manage the consultant team to facilitate the provision of tender and contract documents required to deliver projects
• Preparation of Letter of Award and Contracts for consultants and contractors.
• Participate in Tender evaluation committees, monitor tender responses from contributors; ensure high quality information is received for inclusion in tender document and promptly escalating any quality or integrity issues identified.
• Manage and ensure that all relevant data and information compiled during the tender development phase is considered and made available to all Tender team members.
• Own the periodic project reporting, early warning of risk, issues and claims, tracking the percentage completion to control project deadlines and notification to delivery team to take corrective actions, as required.
• Commercial management of Contracts and ensure pre-contract commercial matters, including bills of quantities, schedule of rates, provisional sums and overall tender preparation and approvals are in accordance with MAFV's policies and procedures.
• Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
• Manage effectively the post-contract variations and claims and control of contracts.
• Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing).
• Take off Quantities form Design Drawing
• Prepare Bill of Quantity including Item description for Joinery, Fit-Out, MEP, and civil works, all in accordance to project perspective and design drawing
• Prepare Tender programme in P6 format if required
• Follow Up enquires, tender negotiations and quotations to meet tender submission date
• Experience Value Engineering for Joinery & Fit-Out works
• Follow Up the procurement upon the project award and up to materials delivery
• Prepare sub-contract invoices including variations & violations, all in accordance to site measurement and inspection
Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Egypt, Alex University, graduated 2008 Graduation Project: Construction Management.
