Designing and Modelling highly complex Electrical Distribution systems using BIM tools.
•Responsible for Modelling and Detailing of Lighting, Small Power, Fire Alarm, BMS, Earthing.
•Modelling of Energy equipments(Transformers, Switch Gears, UPS, Rectifiers, Inverters etc).
•Providing Energy Rooms(SPS Rooms, TPS Rooms, Battery Rooms) details like room size, number for the design team.
•Space proofing of Energy equipments as per the standards and room size.
•Cable Ladder/Tray sizing by using Cable Schedule provided by the Design Engineer.
•Modelling Cable ladders(MV, LV Power, DC Battery, BUSDUCT, DC Positive, DC Negative) with proper Industry Standards.
•Performing Coordination with Architecture, Structure, MEP, Sub-systems(AFC, PSD, Signalling,
Telecom, TVS) Models.
•Modelling of Lighting fixtures, sockets with standard elevations from FFL.
•Train and oversee the activities of junior BIM Modelers.
•Utilizing BIM Technology to enhance proper coordination with other Disciplines.
•Resolving Clashes with proper coordination with corresponding teams.
•Colloborating with Site Engineers foe proper execution of work.
•Preparing Shop drawings with necessary sections, Wall Openings, Tagging, Dimensions.
•Providing Cable Ladder, Fittings, Conduits, Cables Schedule (BOQ) which includes Type, Size, Length which helps for Procurement team.
•Preparing Builders work for Wall/Floor Openings for Cable Ladders etc.
•Preparing SLD’s using Revit tool for submission with the Floor Plans.
•Developing LOD 400 Parametric families for Electrical Equipments.
•Preparing NWC, NWD, NWF, View Points for detailed presentation to the Client.
•Preparing Sheets and updating Cobie and MMS Parameters using Dynamo software.
•Site visits if necessary and attending coordination meetings.
Importing CAD/REVIT files and performing collaboration process.
•Creating Central file, Local file and preparing different Worksets, View templates, Filters for different services.
•Maintaing Coordination with other disciplines(H.V.A.C, Plumbing) for quality and clash free execution of work.
•Performing Interference check for Clash Detections if needed and clearing the clashes accordingly.
•Preparing Schedules & quantities for Lighting, Small Power layout.
•Automatic Circuiting for Lighitng, Small power and rebalancing the loads if necessary.
•Preparing Lighting drawings as per Client standards and requirements using DIALux
