Responsibilities:
•Coordinating Site safety efforts with the company or client and sub-contractor safety personal.
•Keeping the site management aware of the progress of safety program and making recommendations for site related safety improvements.
•Maintaining and continuing inspection program and reporting the findings and recommendation for prompt correction.
•Conduction and participating in safety meetings, TBT, Induction.
•Evaluating the need for requisitioning of safety, first aid and fire protection equipment needed on the job and ensure that safety equipment meets applicable standards and it is maintained in good condition.
•Coordinating the site first aid and rescue services.
•Hazard identification and risk assessment of various activities and recommend control measures.
•Being responsible for the classification of occupation injuries / illness and following on the control and management of all cases.
•Conduct firefighting and fire evacuation with ERT team.
•Accident, incident and near miss investigation to find out the root causes and suggesting control measures to the management.
•Co- ordinate and attend safety committee meeting.
