✓ Preparation of Departmental operational plan and supporting the department in planning budget for the whole year for the assigned and planned activities
✓ Participated in the development of the Key Performance Indicator scorecard for Risk management & Patient safety and is the assigned data custodian for the department and Supported in the development of the KPI scorecard for Patient Engagement in alignment with the objectives
✓ Supporting27healthcentersinmanagingtheirincidents&ensuringheadquartersupportasneededandreviewing trends in reported incidents, Preparing Incident Dashboard for the Health centre users and Exporting reports on Incidents and providing trainings as necessary
✓ Supporting the System reviews of high-risk incidents & sentinel events, involving stakeholders with all the necessary data and information
✓ Functioning as System Administrator for Datix (Automated incident management system for patient safety) developing security groups for users, providing access to staff and managing profiles and designing the incident reporting and management form.
✓ Supporting in the Identification of organizational needs to update the bi-yearly Client Safety Plan in accordance with the Primary Health Care Strategy and International Best Practice.
✓ Successfully participated in the planning, organizing, and developing of content of the yearly Patient Safety campaigns.
✓ Coordinating and Supporting in performing Risk assessments for new Health Centers and existing health centers as needed
✓ Demonstrating proactive approach to patient safety by thinking of what might go wrong in all your undertakings and by taking the necessary measures to prevent them from happening.
✓ Participated in the development of the Patient Engagement framework, Client Recruitment policy and Health center manager’s guide.
✓ Collection, Preparation, and submission of Evidence related to Risk management, Patient safety and Patient Engagement
✓ Supporting team in preparing the Risk Management reports for the Senior Management Executive Committee that encompass all organization activities that affect Patient Safety for informed decision making with all the necessary data and information
✓ Managing collaborative meetings with various departments and attending meetings with the Risk Director to record the minutes for distribution and Following up with the stakeholders for updates on status of assigned items (see below committees).
✓ Preparation of Policy Development plans/requests for new policies/procedures and participated in the review of policy documents related to Risk management, Patient safety and Patient engagement
✓ Participated as Co-Author in multiple poster submissions as part of IHI conferences, Qatar Patient safety week and Patient Centered care Forum out of which 2 posters were chosen as winners.
✓ Coordinate for training sessions provided by external trainers as needed to ensure provision of adequate resources and support in organizing the External training with required logistics
