July2017 to Present with Emirates Steel Industries, Abu Dhabi, UAE as as Shift supervisor E&A.
Responsible for Maintenance Planning & Execution of PLC systems Siemens S7 400, WinCC HMIs,
Monitoring, trouble shooting, Signal identifying, Sequence analyzing. Analyze Problems in IBAPda for
references and feedbacks.
Maintenance & troubleshooting of all electrical equipment such as AC & DC Motors, AC & DC drives
(Ansaldo) MCC, PCC, PDB, LDB Panels etc.
Maintenance, troubleshooting& repairing of Field Devices i.e. hot metal detectors, loop scanners,
pyrometers, photocells, transmitters etc.
Daily safety meetings related to any incident, precautionary step and toolbox talk.Permit to Work system
and positive isolation system, Issue COI for proper isolation using LOTO.
Preventive maintenance during Down time such as Strategy plan, task list, maintenance plan scheduling,
Condition based, Time based maintenance planning.
Supervised assigned project activities including planning, execution and monitoring of the projects
on Daily/weekly/Monthly Basis; Identification of inputs required by technical office, mechanical,
civil departments and expediting to organize the same for smooth work flow along with progress of
the project.
Checking, correcting & approving basic engineering documents like single line diagram, profibus diagram
& Ethernet diagrams. Prepare equipment list, drawing and document list with the help of engineering
department.Submitting & getting approved various basic & detailed engineering documents to
consultants & customers.
Identifying& developing a vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories&
timely delivery so as to minimize project cost and ensure on time payment to vendors.
Coordinate/support/review site installation and commissioning team during installation, commissioning
and demonstration of performance. Ensure availability of resources for project execution.Extra claim
management with vendor, customer and group companies.Obtaining phase wise completion certificates
as per contract, arrange PG test and claiming retention money from customer. Prepare project closure
report & Compilation of project documentation.
Looked after the maintenance activities of Tunnel Furnace (Equipped with Siemens S7-400 PLCs, Siemens
Simovert Drives). Mill (Equipped with Siemens Simadyn D Drive controller & Simovert AC Drives).Coiler
(Equipped with Siemens Simadyn D Drive controller & Simovert AC Drives)
Slitter (Equipped with ABB AC800 PLC and ABB DCS 500 series DC drives).CTL (Equipped with ABB
AC500 PLC and ABB DCS 500 series DC drives).
Maintenance and Operation of Motors and Drives (Simadyn D Siemens), Maintenance Activities in
different areas of Hot strip mill.
Involved in Various TPM, SIX SIGMA and 5S activities.
Job Profile included exposure and responsibilities in areas like Exposure of AEG (WESTINGHOUSE) DC
Drives, NELCO AC drives,
NELCON-M Analog DC Drives, AEG Sequential Controllers & Process Regulators, Hydraulic Systems, AC/DC
Motors, E.O.T.
Cranes, X-Ray Gauge, Line Instruments like Hot Metal Detectors, Flow Control Valves, Pyrometers etc.
Installation, commissioning, maintenance of 1.6 MVA Transformers.
LTPCC panel (milestone) MCC panel (Venus), UPS system (DB power), PLC (ABB).
Motors up to 200KW with soft starter, ETP (electrostatic tar precipitator).
Electrical actuators & different instruments like pressure &temp. Switches pressure & temperature
Gauges, RTDs, thermocouples, pressure & temperature transmitters.
