JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hands-on the preparation of conceptual design and calculations for various projects involving HVAC / Plumbing & Drainage Systems / FFS using the ELITE/Carrier Software Version 4.15-Block Load / NFPA / UPC. Liaised Baladiyyah Municipality approval for Project permits of Mechanical works (HVAC/Plumbing & Drainage System/Fire Fighting System). Initiated and finalized all Mechanical Systems design & calculation revisions to be in compliance with the Local Baladiyyah Municipality requirements. Coordinated with Manager / Architect Engineers for the final orientation and setting lay-out of the building prior to the final design and calculations to be made in order to avoid future problems. Hands-on mechanical designs and drafting works at same time. Hands on the preparation of the conceptual design and duct sizing & chilled water pump sizing & selections / ESP & Hydraulic calculations, shop drawing, as-built drawings for the HVAC System that includes AHU, FCU, Make-up Air Fans, Exhaust Air Fans, Smoke Exhaust Fans, Jet Fans, Staircase Pressurization Fans, Plate Heat Exchanger Units & Chilled water pump system including pressurization units and chemical treatment system and Rooftop Ecological Filter System. Liaised HVAC shop drawings / material & equipment submittals including HVAC Calculation Submittals for Clients’ Representative Approval. Initiated and finalized HVAC System design for shop drawing preparations by our Auto Cad Draftsmen in the Technical Department. Well versed in the usage, application and preparation of several HVAC Calculation Software such as; VARITRANE Duct Sizing / Elite - multi zone Cooling & Heat Load Calculation / Mc Quay - Air Duct / Louver / Terminals Sizing and ESP calculations / B&G Chilled water pipe sizing and pressure head calculations. Supervised and monitored daily a group of Technical Design Team consisting of HVAC Engineers (Junior), ACAD draftsmen, and Document controllers. Coordinated with MEP Site Engineers for the correct application and implementation of the Approved HVAC Shop Drawings / As-built Drawings / HVAC Equipment Installation with compliance to the Contract Requirements / Specifications / QA/QC Standards prior to the Testing & Commissioning Works.
