MEP Coordination:
Buildings & External Services Composite Drawings
MEP Coordinator is a principal position, my links are Architecture/Civil Engineers, MEP Snr. Engineer, MEP Coordination Engineer & Services Sub-Contractors.
1) Review and coordinate design drawings with design engineers for a preliminary course of actions and prepare the check list.
2) Check the availability of the approved shop drawings from the data base, or from the document controller, or directly from the sub-contractors.
3) Follow up with the concerned for approved shop drawings/materials, omissions/deletions, calculations, sizing/resizing etc.
4) Timely meetings and site visits to run and maintain the quality of coordination’s works smoothly
5) Prepare composite drawings, with appropriate services colors, layouts, sections and details to meet the international standard.
6) Coordinate with site engineers to ensure that the work carried out on the specification and workmanship of the installation.
7) To prepare As-built drawings based on the inspection and commissioning reports upon completion of the works.
