Athletics and Activities Director/Head of PE
Responsibilities: Coordinate the intra-schools sports tournament (House Sports) throughout the school.
Coordinate the inter-schools sports tournaments on both a local and international level (eg. ISAC)
Responsible for recommending to the Superintendent and contracting all coaches.
Liaise with and direct the soccer, basketball and volleyball coaches regarding all aspects of their programs.
Ensure all the necessary equipment is available and facilities are scheduled properly through the Facilities and Grounds Manager.
Formulate, and monitor the budget and make recommendations to the Superintendent for any further budget allocations.
Seeks and finds ways for supporting and financing the athletic programs.
Sends reminders of coming events to the community.
Liaise and communicate with the students and parents as effectively as possible and in a timely manner;
Maintains permanent records for each sport, such as wins and losses, outstanding records, letter files, persons, etc.
Devise/recommend any policies to ensure the efficient running of athletics and activities as necessary. Consult with the two principals regarding policies.
Coordinate/schedule the after-school activities program except for CAS and any other weekend or holiday programs that may occur such as Drama, Music, Science club, etc.
Liaise/consult and supervise all other colleagues involved in the activity program

Worked with local schools and government employment services to offer disadvantaged youths the opportunity to gain vocational training and international qualifications in the Leisure and Hospitality industry.
Established links with the United Kingdom Sailing Academy to recruit graduates for 3 to 6 month contracts to gain vocational work experience in the industry.
Reason for Leaving: Returned to England to do a one year Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) to pursue a full time career in education.
