• Responsible for accounting of complex transactions associated with acquisition of Fox Channel by The Walt Disney Company
• Review and process all manual Walt Disney - Fox Channel transactions in SAP.
• Support development of accounting policies and provide accounting guidance to key stakeholders.
• Work with the SSC Senior Manager and US Head Ofice IC team to establish IC processes & procedures -billing, processing & payment procedures, thresholds, prepare GL coding table,
• Intercompany alignment. Work closely with accounting teams across EMEA on support confirming IC balances.
• Complete month end packs, including regional P&L report and BS reconciliations
• Prepare and post regular monthly journals including sales, cost of sales, accruals, prepayments, reallocations, vat, tax and elimination journals.
• Analyse breakage provision each month and FX realized and unrealized
• Intra-platform UK payroll journals and pension reconciliation.
• Quarterly VAT return preparation, filing and reconciliation.
• Preparation of National Statistics forms and assisting in statutory accounts preparation
• Managing and coordinating 20 person team in day to day operations
• Definition, oversight and dashboarding of service, customer, and hierarchical SLAs and KPIs
