Assignment to Bahrain with the Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA) on behalf of Expertise France, for a mission within the Bahrain French Town Planning Initiative (BFTPI). BFTPI is a government-to-government cooperation project supporting the renewal of the Bahraini territorial planning. Expertise France, as the French public agency for international technical cooperation, has been mandated to lead the project that brings together the French engineering and architecture companies Arep, Egis and Setec within a public-private consortium.
Project management :
• Ensured contractual follow-up with the Client (Steering Committee, Activity Report, etc.)
• Organized and participated in events, technical meetings and interviews with stakeholders
• Coordinated resident experts and teams in France: organized and participated in seminars and operational meetings, followed up with the project schedule and mobilization of experts
• Managed relationships with service providers: graphic designer, translator
• Followed up with the budget: validated the quotes, coordinated with headquarters for payment
• Organized the experience feedback session (REX)

Drafted thematic notes, prepared reports in support of the experts, realized quality control of deliverables
GCEL is developing a digital platform that aims to streamline global trade by linking stakeholders in the supply chain (customs, banks, insurances and carriers).
Public & Government Affairs Department:
Participated to the 2015 Turkey Business 20 (B20) taskforces (Trade, Infrastructure & Investment, Financing Growth, Employment, SMEs & Entrepreneurship) - the B20 is a forum through which the private sector produces policy recommendations for the annual meeting of the Group of 20 (G20) leaders:
• Took part in the discussions
• Prepared technical notes and carried out a monitoring activity
Organized missions and events abroad (Ankara, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, London, Ottawa, etc.) to conclude partnerships with Government Officials, Central Banks and IGOs
Managed communication campaigns with the Graphic Design and E-media team
Deployment Department:
Managed and monitored the Shipment Efficiency Assessments (SEAs) project - case study conducted in the 19 G20 countries, 350 entities interviewed in each country:
• Managed relationships with partners (Ministries, Chambers of Commerce and The Nielsen Company), by means of action plans, conference calls and review meetings
• Analyzed and validated collected data
• Drafted country reports
In charge of external communication (e-mails, brochures, flyers, etc.)
Drafted two reports:
• American Foundations and Government Agencies Active in Africa
• Diversity/Inclusion/Employment
Attended multiple conferences organized by the World Bank, the U.S. Department of State and different think tanks to provide information to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs on subjects related to Development
Organized events involving French personalities and prominent members of the American civil society, in the presence of the Ambassador and the Consul General
Created the page of the Office on the website of the Embassy of France in the U.S.
