Role:
To support SHE methods engineer in defining an SHE management system; and to ensure that SHE values are understood and adopted by all personnel.
To support and provide guidance to site SHE personnel and to all project teams on SHE issues in their respective fields of expertise
To support and advise SHE manager on the implementation of SHE issues.
To consider SHE and socio-economic considerations, in a broad geographical, cultural, contractual and environmental context.
To liaise with corporate departments, authorities and partners on SHE issues as required
Responsibilities
Operational Responsibility
To contribute in their respective field of expertise to the objectives of the SHE methods section
Contractors And Suppliers
Analyze contractor plans and procedures needed by contract requirements for SHE linked to the EPCC phases
To ensure that manuals and plans are in accordance with contractual requirements; to prepare and implement bridging requirements if needed.
To define and follow-up the monitoring of contractors’ activities to confirm their compliance with the requirements of the contract.
To support SHE advisors in their evaluation of packages’ contractors SHE plans and activities
To define assistance programs for continuous improvement of contractors SHE performance.
To compile and challenge contractors’ SHE reporting for Project Management Team in their respective field of expertise.
Personnel Competency and Training
To define, supervise, and manage a training plan for the project team.
To ensure that mandatory training programs are set up for personnel with specific Environmental responsibilities.
Emergency Preparedness
To support the SHE Department in establishing emergency response plans.
To organize preparedness for emergency events through training and drills.
Incident Analysis
To support incident, accident and high potential near-miss investigations and analysis.
To prepare and maintain the project reporting system
To ensure that any incident or anomaly is immediately reported and analysed.
Audits and Inspections
To set up and implement audit plans.
To monitor action plans and make sure that they are properly implemented.
