Provide professional health care services at facility. Perform complete physical examinations. Collect comprehensive medical and social history to include a review of all body systems. Perform physical assessment in correlation with historical findings, records preliminary objective findings. Examine and order appropriate diagnostic testing and provides necessary treatment and/or medications as required. Refer selected cases to consultant specialists when necessary. Refer patients requiring hospitalization to a community hospital and to an appropriate admitting physician. Administer or direct administration of both curative and preventative inoculations. Prescribe medications, treatments, and fully utilizes health services for treatment, rehabilitative, and diagnostic modalities. Assure proper maintenance of medical records, preparation of reports, etc., as related to the area of responsibility. Make recommendations on matters of policy, procedures, training, personnel, and equipment as related to specific area of responsibility. Responsible for managing and directing a variety of technical and administrative support services critical to clinic operation.
