Syria Resilience Consortium (SRC) - Northern Syria Hub Coordination
Geographical and Technical Coordination: Lead operational coordination of SRC projects, ensuring synergies among northwest hub members. Develop workplans outlining locations, timelines, and partner roles.
External Representation: Represent the northern Syria hub and consortium in inter-NGO coordination meetings, donor meetings, and SRC functions.
Area Focal Point for PCU: Act as liaison between northern Syria hub partners, IRC, and the consortium’s Project Coordination Unit (PCU).
Assessments, Mapping & Analysis: Lead area-level assessments and coordination of technical TORs for consultants. Work with PCU to ensure analysis and risk management plans are up to date.
Coordination Meetings: Organize monthly coordination meetings for North Hub members, including travel to Gaziantep, Turkey.
Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on programmatic, gender, age, and disability inclusion targets for the North Hub. Adapt monitoring tools as necessary.
Syria Resilience Consortium - IRC Member Representative
Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary focal point for IRC in both North West and North East Syria. Facilitate communication between the PCU, donors, and IRC staff, ensuring updates are disseminated across hubs.
Donor Reporting & Proposal Development: Ensure timely submission of reports and proposals, including SIDA, DANIDA, NMFA, and FCDO. Lead proposal development, including facilitating design meetings and reviewing drafts.
Strategy Engagement: Participate in strategic discussions with the SRC PCU and other member representatives. Provide technical information on IRC programming to inform decision-making. Support annual and multi-year budget planning for SRC-funded programs.
IRC ERD Program Support
Project Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with key ERD staff to improve IRC’s gender, age, and disability programming. Support managers in SRC project implementation, ensuring adherence to technical and cross-cutting commitments.
Partnership Management: Oversee IRC’s relationship with Humanity and Inclusion (HI), ensuring inter-agency agreements are in place and gender, age, and disability considerations are well integrated into project activities.
Gender Task Force: Represent IRC in the SRC’s Gender Task Force, ensuring recommendations are feasible for the Syrian context. Provide operational support for integrating gender considerations across hubs.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitor IRC’s progress on SRC gender, age, and disability inclusion targets. Work closely with the ERD Information Management team and other IRC managers to ensure indicator achievement.
Coordination & Problem Solving: Identify issues impacting SRC program performance. Collaborate with team members to find solutions and ensure long-term priorities remain on track. Lead coordination efforts with IRC HQ on inclusion-related matters.
