Worked for partner Group42 as Design and Engineering Manager on delivering Package #2 which consisted of design and installation of 5000 nos. CCTV cameras and 150 nos. Vehicle Access Control System (VACS) that consists of Arm Barriers, ANPR cameras, Driver ID Cameras and UVSS (Under Vehicle Screening System).
Day to day duties were coordination between Client Expo and Group42 team. Liaison with PMC and other design & civil consultants.
Participated in design and review of all security systems for the whole event.
Responsible for preparation of specifications, data sheets and other construction documents.
Coordinating IP address schedules for cameras onboarding to surveillance systems.
Responsible for preparation and submissions for Expo approvals of Shop Drawings.
Responsible for preparation and submissions for SIRA approvals of As-Built Drawings.
1. QASR AL HOSN Restoration Works - Abu Dhabi, UAE
The project calls for the restoration of the stone watchtower and the new services building for the
National Consultative Council Chamber in Qasr Al Hosn. The works are a mix of traditional, local
construction and conservation techniques. The works also include installation of contemporary
building materials, services and exhibitions.
2. SPECIALIST REHABILITATION HOSPITAL, Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Construction of the New Capital Health's Specialist Rehabilitation Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE
(B3 +G+8, 170 Bed Rehab Facility).
• Architectural/Structural Drawings, Finishing Works, Landscaping, Facade, Material Submittals)
• Receiving, Logging, Reviewing shop drawings as per standards, and maintaining proper record
to convert shop drawings into as-built at the completion of the project, coordinating with
contractor, consultant and client
• Ensure that final construction documentation (i.e., “As-Builts”) accurately reflects the installed
facility and its complete for all project work
AL MARYAH CENTRAL Retail Mall, Mixed Use Retail Development
The dynamic, US $1 billion Al Maryah Central development project comprises of 2.8 million sq.
feet of retail, a 20 screen cinema, 60 dining options and 300 retail outlets including anchor
tenants Macy's and bloomingdales's. The development covers an entire city block and is spread
over 4 levels of basement car parking and 5 levels of retail.
Duties And Responsibilities:

• Monitor design development and participate in early model reviews with the design team to
ensure consistency and completeness of design information.
• Ensure consultants prepare detailed design in accordance with Employers Requirement and
Contractors Proposals.
• Develop and establish the technical building details for the project including plans, sections,
elevations, plan/section details, and schedules to meet the design intent
• Revision of details as design progresses, in sufficient time to keep work progressing.
• Review shop drawings and project submittals for document compliance.
• Identification of additional requirement for details/sketches.
• Process RFIs and submittals using Aconex software
• Timely release of design information. Issue sheet production and distribution to all relevant
parties.
• Review architectural documents for potential conflicts with other disciplines.
• Interface directly with the consultants, contractors, team members, and architects.
• Review designs and drawings to ensure technical compliance with the work-scope and
specifications for approval.
• Identify problems with the design development and provide regular progress reporting.
