• Examine documents to determine degree of risk from such factors as applicant financial standing and value and condition of property.
• Review company records to determine amount of insurance in force on single risk or group of closely related risks.
• Evaluate possibility of losses due to catastrophe or excessive insurance.
• Responsible for authorizing reinsurance of motor policy when risk is high or declining excessive risks.
• Decline excessive risks.
• Review insurance policy to determine coverage.
• Prepare insurance claim forms and related documents and review them for completeness.
• Contact insured or other involved persons to obtain missing information.
• Transmit claims for payment or further investigation.
• Organize and work with detailed office or warehouse records, using computers to enter,
• access, search and retrieve data.
• Provide customer service, such as limited instructions on proceeding with claims or referrals to auto repair facilities or local contractors.
• Ability to manage customer and give them a best and quick service with complete documents
