I am currently working at United Arab Shipping Company (S.A.G.) as a Network support technician / system’s operator \[Feb 2010 - Present\]. My job role included basic I.T. support i.e. configuring routers, switches, adding users to the domain, configuring Microsoft Exchange server client-side. As a System’s operator I worked on IBM-Mainframe system \[AS-400\] the main role here was to make sure all the systems were up & running, do a daily maintenance for the systems, track the number of users and system jobs, create reports on the various systems and do daily/weekly/monthly system backup’s on LTO 2, 3, 4 tape drives. Apart from this I am passionate about the working of various networks, how to monitor and implement security.
