• Troubleshoot hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Install and repair hydraulic & pneumatic cylinders such as: double acting cylinders, single acting cylinders, double end rod cylinders, hydraulic ram cylinders & telescopic cylinders.
• Charge and install all types of Accumulators (bladder, diaphragm & piston accumulators).
• I overhaul positive displacement and dynamic pumps such as gear, piston, plunger, and diaphragm pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic & pneumatic systems and equipment.
• I understand and install electrical and hydraulic instrument including hydraulic solenoid valves, pressure transmitter, level transmitter, pressure switch level switch.
• I repair and service hydraulic & pneumatic tools such as hydraulic jack hammer, pneumatic impact wrench, hydraulic power pack and Pneumatic grinding machine.
• I inspect hydraulic systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
• Competent reviewing hydraulic schematics to find fault, repair and offer technical advice when required.
• Assembling component by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Write report on major equipment failure, modification, equipment performance and maintenance history.
I troubleshoot and repair of hydraulic & pneumatic equipment using hand tools, power tools and computerized diagnostic equipment.
I install and repair all types of hydraulic & pneumatic cylinders be it
single acting cylinder, double acting cylinders, double end rod cylinders, Ram cylinders etc.
I repair & charge accumulators ( bladder, diaphragm & piston accumulators)
I repair positve displacement Pumps & non Positive displacement pumps such as piston, vane, gear, lube, screw, propeller and centrifugal pumps
I service and repair hydraulic & pneumatic tools such as Hydraulic jack hammer, Pneumatic Impact wrench, hydraulic power pack, Pneumatic Grinding machines.
I Inspect hydraulic system to ensure they are operating safely at all times.
I do regular checks and maintenance on both hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
eg Changing of Oil and air filter
Installing of FRL( filter Regulator &lubricator) on pneumatic
lines.
Replacing of faulty gauges on both pneumatic & hydraulic systems
I install & repair all types of valves on on both hydraulic and pneumatic Equipment.
