I am working as a Civil Engineer in 132/33 kV Sub-Station project from bigning to handover. Full site management, schedule preparation, manpower calculation, Drawings checking and Quantity taking.
Foundation and Piling Engineer (Supervising Larson & Toubro Pvt. Ltd)
• Depending on the soil conditions, open foundation or pile foundation works are started based on the foundation drawing.
• Pile Boring is done as per the requirement of drawing.
• Pile socketing is checked whether it is provided or not as per the requirement of drawing.
• Check Bar bending and bar bindings are done as per the drawing or not.
• Checking of form works of open foundation and pile caps before the pouring of concrete.
• Calculating the material quantity and monitor the material quality.
• Making daily report and reporting to Assistant Engineers and Assistant Executive Engineers.
Quality Engineer
• Checking the Design mix and Quality of Ready-mix concrete and steels before the concreting
• Ensure the calibration certificates of RMC plants and also manually check the calibration of machineries before batching started.
• Cube tests are done and making graphs to analysis the strength and quality of concrete.
• Frequently collect the materials used for concrete mix and steel and send it to quality lab for quality testing before exceeding the frequency limit and analyze the reports to meet FQP.
• Implementing preventive actions and determining corrective actions.
• Preparing the reinforcement details of shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for all RCC elements like Pile Cap, Slab, Beam, Column, etc. based on the typical drawings.
• Thoroughly study the structural designer drawings before starting the work
• Reviewing the shop drawing and BBS & resent to sub-contractor for correction.
• Working for Hotels, Commercial buildings, Villas & high-rise structures in gulf projects.
• Assuring to done a client instruction.
• Monitored the worksite for the completion of necessary tasks and safety compliance.
• Managed the supply of equipment and building materials, restocked and recorded.
• Maintained the inventory of building materials and construction equipment.
• Estimate the quantity of cement, metal, sand, number of bricks required, quantity of steel required etc…. and BOQ preperation.
• Foundation, Column markings are done as per drawings.
• Check the size of Beams, Columns, Lintels, etc… And check the proper number of bars provided or not as per drawing before pouring of concrete.
