End User Terminal Deployment Manager (Operation Manager ) at Sumitomo Corporation

• Leading the project’s contractual obligations pertaining to the safe deployment of end-user-equipment (EUE), which includes planning, coordination and control of the installation teams.
• Ensuring that adequate resources are made available to fully support the project schedule in deploying and testing the functions of EUE to ensure that the installed and commissioned systems and equipment are functioning in accordance with the project’s design parameters that is based on the functional specifications document (FSD).
• Assure the best satisfaction of the Work Owner and by adhering to SAUDI ARAMCO Safety guidelines & measures.
• To motivate Sumitomo’s partners on the job, to expedite the installation and testing work of the EUE in order to complete the work ahead of the project schedule.
• To manage and control installation, testing and commissioning related activities pertaining to EUE.
• Closely coordinating with subcontractors on the job and site owners and by ensuring sufficient and adequate EUE, installation material and manpower are available to support the work in accordance with the project’s 2-Week Look-Ahead plan issued weekly by the Construction Team.
• To take the lead on addressing any technical, Safety (Loss Prevention) and/or coordination matters at the customer sites and premises before they become hindering issues; that leaving them un-resolved could impact the project’s implementation schedule.
• Maintain close liaison with the Construction, Safety and QA/QC Teams of Sumitomo and those of Subcontractors.
• To control the work progress of subcontractors, and to convince subcontractors to recover the progress once slippage is noticed, or if a counter measure is deemed necessary to proactively avoid the schedule from falling behind the target dates.
• To establish and maintain the EUE Installation Schedule, which is convenient for Sumitomo by maintaining close coordination and liaison with the project’s Scheduler and Construction Manager.
• To ensure that the required testing and commissioning activities are successful and on schedule through the close coordination with Sumitomo Lead Radio Engineer, QA/QC Group, and Subcontractors.
• Supervise the programming department for the End User Terminal.
• Receiving the complaints from the customer for any issue with their EUT unit and arrange the team for a site visit to solve the issue.
• Coordinate with the supplier and procurement for after sales support.
• Lead the teams for the installation of the Indoor Repeaters with daily report.
• Supervise the constructions and civil work on the site.
• Follow up with the subcontractor the work achieved against the work plan.
• Solve the issue at the site with the AIT and site proponent.
• Rectify the installation to comply with the best results of the coverage testing.
• To ensure that all items in EIL (Exception Item List) are smoothly concluded through close coordination and cooperation with Sumitomo QA/QC Group and Subcontractors.
