-Works cross-functionally with international partners, local suppliers.
-Resolve problems with back orders and/or non-receipt of goods and damaged items.
-Place orders on store basis for items that are shipped from suppliers.
-Creates feasible short and long-term production/inventory plans for assigned multiple product lines.
-Levels and prioritizes receipt and payments.
-Optimize order quantities and integrates new products or equipment for successful launch.
-Develops inventory strategies to determine cost effective use of inventory investment.
-Maximizes inventory turns by establishing proper levels of safety stock and analyzing space utilization against forecast demand.
Responsibilities:
*To acquire requisitions from department, ask quotation and prepare purchase order under Inventory system installed by “SAP”.
* To ensure accurate communication of purchase order and follow with international and local suppliers for delivery of the shipments.
*Track cost difference from various suppliers.
*Facilitate information to warehouse to store shipment.
*See prioritizes for payments.
*Ensure shipments are as per our specification with technical approvals.
*Follow for clearing shipments through air or sea.
*Follow with supplier and also production-department till the shipment scheduled for production.
* Full follow with my team to ensure that everything as per the rolls and specifications.
