Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure design specifications, as well as safety standards, are being met. Supervises manpower activities such as installation of Glass-Reinforced Plastic (GRP) structures, joinery, masonry, and welding works.
In-charge in snagging/de-snagging upon turnover of the projects.
Ensures the full implementation for all the Project’s quality control documents such as PQP, method statements, ITPs, etc.
Conducts Quality Control Inspections on site activities and workmanship from construction of substructures including excavation, backfilling and levelling; bored pilings; erection of precast concrete panels and structural steel; waterproofing and leakage tests, finishing works such as tiles, painting, installation of doors and windows, etc.; construction of superstructures such as slabs, columns, beams, precast panels and structural steel structures; up to the foundation and installation of MEP services such as solar powered hot water system and solar panel car park shed;, to ensure their compliance with the project contract requirements and authority approved drawings.
Conducts quality control inspections on materials received at site to ensure their compliance with the project contract requirements and approved drawings.
Coordinates site tests carried out by third parties and visit laboratories to ensure proper testing, all the measuring tools, testing devices are suitable for use and calibrated in a timely manner and review test results as well.
Controls all non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure corrective actions were taken, root caused were analyzed, and preventive are well placed and communicated.
Ensures the inspection of quality samples/mock-ups are carried out in line with the project requirements. Keeps proper traceability of these benchmarks for future reference.
Check/watch safety on site and report incidents immediately.
Maintains archives for quality testing and inspection records such as concrete pouring, cube tests, curing inspection requests, calibration certificates, laboratory reports, etc.
Carries out the snagging inspections towards the project’s finishing phase and follows-up for the close-out of the same.
Prepares project handing over documents and checking of as-built drawings.
