 Develops and maintains up-to-date accurate databases, documentation and reports to reflect import/export activities.
 Plans, schedules and routes imports and exports ensuring related customer service and customs compliance; determines schedules and processes, reviews and modifies processes to ensure efficient flow of goods.
 Represent the organization as the primary contact with internal and external customers and government representatives.
 Ensures compliance to foreign and domestic laws and regulations regarding all import/export activities, oversees and participates in internal and external audits.
 Maintains an awareness of regulatory changes or rulings and their impact on import/exports, analyzes special programs and recommends changes to existing programs or implementations of new programs.
 Identifies import/export issues and may provide leadership in developing solutions.
 Assist with export licensing activities.
 Develop and manage comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with UAE and foreign regulations in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities.
 Responsibilities include establishing business processes for submitting to and obtaining from Dubai Municipality all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications and technology release determinations.
 Establish operational processes for assuring logistics and trade compliance through gate reviews of technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments.
 Support the Logistics and Trade Compliance department in investigations and resolution of compliance problems, questions or complaints.
 Establish and maintain training and audit assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.
 Support preparation of complex Dubai Chamber of Commerce import/export authorization preparation and on-going monitoring.
 Support associated export authorization strategies.
 Generate performance metrics for export and import licensing processes.
 Demonstrate skill and ability to analyze and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
 Work under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives.
 Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible also for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

 Actively promotes respect of our Quality and HSE Systems and documented procedures.
 Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of inventory finished goods and raw materials. Provide reports to internal and external customer.
 Monitor on-going logistics operation to ensure compliance with agreed standards and procedures.
 Assist in obtaining necessary transportation permits for inbound and outbound shipments, as required to facilitating timely movements.
 Works closely with third-party providers to assure efficient and effective execution of defined processes and goods transportation.
 Ensures inventory accuracy by coordinating the inventories and goods system to system information with distribution centers to near real time monitoring of EDI processes as well as other manual inventory and adjustment processes.
 Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations.
 Codes and prepares proper paperwork for billing and authorization of a variety of invoices per defined processes.
 Re-routes freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs.
 Initiates shrink threshold and loss claims with warehouse supervisor and tracking reconciliation of the same per contract standards.
 Ensures accuracy of physical inventory order sequence by entering inter-company purchase orders and inter-company transfers into the system.
 Verifies accuracy of physical inventory.
 Assist in the administration of supply agreements for transport carriers.
 Overview performance of third party material handling services.
 Coordinate with operating department to manage inventory levels at multiple store locations
 Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulations, environmental, safety and hazardous waste regulations.
