a. Active involvement in the reinforcement of company
internal controls, procedures, and reporting systems.
b. Supervision of Junior Accountants to ensure that duties
are performed accurately and efficiently.
c. Monitoring of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts
receivable, payable, revenue, and expenditures to ensure
that the Financial Statements are prepared in accordance
with the existing financial reporting standards.
d. Reconciliation of intercompany and related party accounts
and resolve any discrepancy.
e. Finalization of month-end and year-end financial reports.
f. Preparation of relevant reports for the management.
g. Collection of data, system reconciliation, and preparation
of VAT Return in accordance with the UAE VAT Law.
h. Coordination with external auditors in the finalization of
standalone and consolidated Financial Statements Audit.
a. Provide overall management and direction to all accounting activities, namely; general accounting, cost and inventory, tax compliance, financial analysis, bookkeeping, payroll and other related areas of concern.
b. Contribute to the setup and reinforcement of internal control procedures, accounting and reporting systems.
c. Manage and analyze financial risks, suggest method for cost reduction and other ways of minimizing costs.
d. Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports.
e. Monitor and prepare documents to meet accounting standards and tax regulations.
f. Provide overall direction for the proper implementation of policies and procedures covering the areas of credit and collection, internal audit and information technology.
a. Assist the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting and payroll.
b. Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
c. Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
d. Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, payable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
e. Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies.
f. Directs internal audits involving review and administrative controls.
g. Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
h. Reviews financial statements with management personnel.
i. Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
