Roles and Responsibilities
•Achieve, demonstrate, and maintain required level of competence to safely operate assigned process area of the site
•Identify and manage abnormal process operation situations in assigned process areas of the site
•Identify and communicate 24/7 production issues.
•Monitor and accurately record unit operating data (temperatures, pressures, flows, and levels) for upward or downward trends
•Execute the Permit to Work, Lock Out and Tag Out.
•Prepare equipment for maintenance in accordance with maintenance plans
•Execute all assigned operator tasks, and document and report findings when needed
•Perform required preventative maintenance and assist in troubleshooting potential issues and give assistance to others when unit problems occur.
•Ensure workstations and the work location is clean and free of hazards
•Make regular routine checks of all equipment and units to ensure that they are functioning correctly in accordance with standard operating procedure.
•Report all equipments and instrument defects and leaks immediately to my production supervisor and take possible corrective action
•Water flushing, air blowing, nitrogen purging and steam purging, chemical loading, GALT & high pressure leak test (Air and Nitrogen) and pigging.
•Making of punch point list rectification of the point in co-ordination with Maintenance
•Check the water/oil interface level in sumps tanks and operate their pumps locally when they required.
•Participate under instruction in launching pig into pipeline, prepare pig receiver stations and remove the pig and check it for damages under the guidance of the Production Supervisor.
•Unload chemicals into tanks for injections, start and adjust the flow rate of chemical injection pumps as required.
•Collect oil, gas and water samples and measure that water cut in oil, salt concentration in the produced water and pass the samples to the laboratory for analysis.
•Start-up and shutdown of pumps, vessels, equipment as necessary for maintenance work
•Everyday closely monitors all plants, well head conditions such as Flow rates, pressures, Temperatures, levels, Flow rates of Production, Gas Injection rate and water injection rates checking through Trends, In case of any changes found immediately inform to Production Supervisor and take action accordingly.
•Well Testing, Inspection & Operation of Christmas tree. Flow Line Flushing Job, SSV, SSSV & Choke Operations.
•Gas Lifting, Water Injection, Chemical Injection, PIG Launching & receiving, inspection of pipelines for leakage & puncture.
•Well Annulus Pressure Bleeding, safety value testing, lower and upper Master value, wing value, Arm Value, Adjustable choke & crown value operation.
Trainings
•Permit to Work (PTW) from KOC & ADNOC
•H2S, CSE, AED, CPR, BA, EEBA Awareness & Authorized Gas Tester (AGT)
•STCW (EFA, PST, PSSR, HUET & Basic Fire Fighting)
