• Manages all QA/QC inspections to ensure the implementation of quality assurance and quality control system indicated in project quality plan and project specifications.
• Responsible to ensure that an appropriate QA(quality assurance) program is in place which includes the systems and activities that affect quality, is established and implemented in accordance with the corporate/project quality objectives in coordination with MR(management representative).
• Assisting MR in conducting assessments, audits and surveillances and providing guidance to functional organizations and project teams.
• Notifying the MR(management representative), PM(Project Manager) or appropriate management of any significant conditions adverse to quality.
• Advising PM(Project manager) and MR(management representative) that work will be stopped on nonconforming materials or activities if continued work will require significant rework or repair to establish remedial action.
• Responsible for the implementation of control of nonconformance, corrective action and preventive action procedures.
• Witnessing and approving all required testing of materials on the project with the contractor and third party representative.
• Reviewing all relevant documentation like prequalification documents, material submittals, method statement, inspection test plan(ITP) and test reports.
• Reviewing project quality plan for the project.
• Reviewing operation and maintenance manual for all the system of the project.
• Conducting an internal audit on the quality management system and environmental management system of the sites and company.
