Estimation Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
 Responsible for review, checking tender documents such as scope of work, bill of
quantities, drawings and specifications.
 Study the tender package what are in the scope of work, what should be price
and not, to now the document missing in that specific project to be send for
request for information (RFI).
 Responsible for preparing bill of quantities/material take off (MTO) for electrical
system and extra low voltage system.
 Prepare request for quotation (RFQ) to be send for inquiries and coordinating
with the suppliers are necessarily to complete the quotations for the whole MEP
works.
 Updating supplier list while preparing cost sheet or work sheet for pricing.
 Preparing and computing of material cost estimate as per the complete quantity
taken in the tender drawing or bill of quantities (BOQ) from the client to be priced
up and to be presented to my team leader / manager for prior review and
approval.
 Responsible for preparing consultant bill of quantities to be filled up and to be
submitted to them.
 Responsible for preparing tender offer as per the quantity taken in the project
and specifications with conditions and exclusions are to be considered.
 Responsible for preparing revised tender with respect in the revised drawing and
addendum from the consultant or client.
 Preparation of material submittals as per the material specifications from the
consultants for approval.
 Revising material cost variation as per the approved drawings and for the
additional works and material obtained.
 Reviewing the cost impact of the changes had made as per the revision of the
specifications and drawings.
 Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure.
 Preparing value engineering for specific items, especially long lead items.
 Prepare and update discount sheet as per use quotation.
 Work on Schedule C for ARAMCO projects.
 Attend weekly meeting.

Procurement Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
 Responsible for collecting price from the supplier.
 Preparing and sending inquiry, from OR study and understand the attachment
like the specification, drawing and any additional information that supplier needed
to take their quotation correct and fast.
 Prepare BTF or price comparison of the supplier and reviewing their quotation if
right and comply in our specification and considering also the brand of the
product if it is approved by the consultant.
 Putting into file hard and soft copy to be send to engineering department who
ever request the material for final review and approval.
 Sending negotiation letter upon final approval from the engineering department
for any discount price from the supplier.
 Preparing PO purchase order using JD edward program.
 Signing of PO from the Manager’s and people concern, then sending the PO
from supplier.
 Finally communicating from the supplier until the material or product is delivered
on Job site.
3. Quantity Surveyor
Duties and Responsibilities
 Provide a report to the project manager or project director and provide advice in
decision making processes throughout the project management from start to
finish.
 Making estimates of cost and project cost control.
 Determining the price analysis, work items and quantity.
 Pre contract responsibilities (Elemental cost estimate, measurement, bill of
quantity preparation, tender document preparation, estimated tender, tender
evaluation, tender clarification meeting and negotiation meeting).
 Post contract responsibilities (Kick of meeting, progress on site, variation order
calculation, variation order negotiation, payment certificate, financial statement,
final accounts prepare value engineering if needed).

1. Quantity Surveyor
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for quantifying or take off for electrical works such as HV & LV switchgears, transformers,
generators, uninterruptable power supply UPS, panelboard, motor control centre MCC, conductors &
cables, busbars, lighting fixtures, wiring devices, cable tray & cable trunking, grounding & lightning
protection as per drawings and specifications/details.
• Responsible for preparing bill of quantities BOQ/material take off (MTO) for all electrical materials
used in certain project.
• Sending inquiries and coordinating with the suppliers are necessarily to complete the quotations
for the whole MEP works.
• Responsible for preparing technical query to the consultant for any discrepancy on drawings and as per
the specifications.
• Responsible for preparing summary or comparison of quantity between site quantity and
construction drawing for any cost in fact of the project.
• Preparing value engineering if needed.
2. Tender and Estimation Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for checking the tender drawings and specifications if it is completed or not.
